When the city becomes a crime ridden hellhole even worse than the 70s and part of the 80s were, what will be the excuse then? Rent control has been around for a long time. Doesn't help when landlords can't afford repairs. Utility costs are at record levels? Just freeze them at that level instead of trying to bring costs down. Offer free stuff like mad? Never works. Wait until he finds out he can't legally do most of the stuff he's promised. Those pesky things called laws...
