Tattoos are sexy as hell!! Something about the correlation with pain maybe!! There's nothing masculine about it!! (Well hopefully nothing on the face...other than that anything goes!!)

I have some tattoos as well. Mine all mean something and are special as well. Everybody has different taste though. I saw a woman the other day at a store that had a whole sleeve. It was very very hot on her. But everybody is different.

I'm completely covered, so yes, I definitely love a woman covered in QUALITY work... Sorry, I'm a little bit of a snob haha.

If I were a provider, I would think real hard about this before getting a tattoo:

some people like them, and others don't, but
-have you ever hears someone say: "I find it distracting that she had no tattoos"?
-How often is someone embarrassed when people find out that they do not have tattoos?
-How many times does someone have to hide the fact that they do not have tattoos at a job interview?
-How often does someone use photoshop to ADD tattoos to their photos?
-How often does a hobbyist say: " I know she is pimped because she does not have tattoos"

Generally don't like them; but I work with one hot girl who has one end of a flowering vine peeking out of her shirt sleeve, and the other out of her pants leg. It seems to whisper, "Wouldn't you like to see the whole thing?"

BTW everyone should check out a show called "Tattoo Nightmares," where these three great tattoo artists turn people's bad tattoos into (at least relatively) beautiful ones. Can't think of many occupations which would be more satisfying.

I've NEVER seen a single tattoo make a woman look more attractive or seem more desireable. I've seen hundreds, if not thousands, have the opposite effect. Period. QED.

I love that show. They really can do miracles on cover ups or just bad art work that they have done.

If someone won't see me because I have tattoos... they probably aren't my kind of person any way.

Variety is the spice of life.

You guys have every right to chose who you see based on what you like or don't like.

I can guarantee that it won't change who I am or affect my decision to get another tattoo.

There is someone for everyone out there.

Reese great response because so true and thanks for all the honest answers, at least I do not feel like an old fart any more to see I am not alone in the not a tat fan world.

Again a few discreet OK but all over and like has been said do not ruin certain feminine body parts or have a dudes name anywhere!!!

Reese,

Most of us who do not like them, will tolerate them, unless they are either excessive, or obvious pimp brands.

Hell, nobody is perfect. I am not a fan of tats yet I am grateful that you have been kind enough to see a homely slob like me.

I hope you still feel that way now that I have been outed on the Dukes list if people who kick kittens for fun.

I love tattoos! I get them for me not for anyone else, yet I keep them tasteful and feminine still. I get plenty of compliments on mine.

Now that is the funniest thing I have read in a LONG TIME!

The idea that the average provider would put thought into an action before they took said action?

I've gone from hating, to tolerating, to liking them. In fact, I now prefer a little ink to none at all. My ideal provider would have 5 tats including a tramp stamp (no disparagement intended) and a tat on one shoulder blade, one ankle, lower pelvis above vagina, and side. I asked one lady about her tattoos and she became emotional and told me that one of her tattoos was the name of her daughter who had died in infancy. I was very moved by her story.
