Who is going to negotiate a truce here? Instead of bumping these Goddam threads with 'Snaps' and 'Sheeples', how about we all just hit the RTM button until they close every one of these fucking threads? Eventually, the mods will get tired of hearing it and close' em. Surely...maybe.

@ Lola - One of the best sessions I ever had here was with you (http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=649302). I don't care what recent reviews say...you put it on me like a champ every time I saw you. The Lola that I met was a bubbly little firecracker with great TCB and an awesome little tush.

@ SHEP - You saved me from myself on AT LEAST a dozen occasions. I appreciate that. I never met 'the SHEP' that people keep referring to here. The guy I know put in a lot of time and effort to help people get together and keep bullshit away from any alleged gatherings we may have attended.

For the record, at some point, according to all of the posts here and in other threads, even the critics have been - or wanted to be - associated with a group at one time or another. If it isn't for you, great. Shut the fuck up about it already. Have lunch by yourself...in a cubicle next to SD2011. Ignore his snorting and goofy peering over the partition! You keep bumping these Goddam things with your 'holier than thou' posts. Fuck! You're the problem here!

If the Dennis Rodman thing doesn't pan out, and the RTM thing fails miserably, I'll pay for a dinner date / sexual extravaganza between SHEP and Lola! I'm not kidding! If a good steak and a vigorous pounding doesn't get it out...nothing will. Two hours for steak and taters, two hours for play? Sound good? I'm dead fucking serious.

The funny thing is, neither of these two members ever suggested, or even hinted, that my friendship with them hinged on the disintegration of a friendship with the other. Everyone that suggests otherwise is a fucking moron.

In a final effort to put this ridiculous string of shit to bed, I'll officially offer to change my handle from Say What to HEATHER if no one piles onto this heap of shit anymore. Now SD2011 has to decide whether or not to call me a fucktard or keep his mouth shut and claim ownership to my new handle. I'm guessing he can't keep his mouth shut.

I wish I had another recipe ready......but this will have to do.

Rhubarb Custard Pie

Ingredients
1 sheet refrigerated pie dough (from a 14.1-ounce package)
1 1/4 pounds rhubarb (about 6 medium stems), trimmed, halved lengthwise and cut into 1-inch pieces (about 4 1/2 cups)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange zest, preferably Valencia
2 tablespoons orange juice, preferably Valencia
2 large eggs
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Confectioners' sugar, for serving

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Fit the pie dough into a 9-inch pie plate, fluting the edges, and chill until set, about 15 minutes. Prick the bottom and sides with a fork, and then line the crust with aluminum foil. Fill with pie weights or dried beans and bake until the edges of the crust are just golden, 20 minutes. Remove the foil with the pie weights and continue to bake until the bottom of the crust is dry and lightly browned, another 10 to 15 minutes. Cool completely.

Toss the rhubarb with 1/4 cup granulated sugar and the orange zest and juice until well combined. Transfer to the crust and spread to form an even layer. Place the pie on a rimmed baking sheet. Whisk the eggs with the cream, flour and remaining 1/2 cup granulated sugar until smooth, and then pour over the rhubarb. Bake until the pie is lightly browned, puffed and no longer wet in the center, about 1 hour 15 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. Before serving, lightly dust with confectioners' sugar.

TIP: You can make this pie the day before and chill overnight in the fridge.

I don't know if my views are quite as extreme, because social groups exist everywhere. I'm not a fan.
