Sandwiches? I guess I should cut back. My last visitor got a plate of caramel-pecan cookies smothered in Ghiradelli chocolate, meatloaf and gourmet roasted nuts. The one before that gobbled down my homemade veg. beef soup and cornbread.

Guess there's more than one way to stuff a Provider... LOL

You may not like Whispers comments but they are spot on here. I don't mind getting unsolicited PMs, but if I get an unsolicited text, even though I use a Google Voice number, that girl will never hear from me again. I have zero tolerance for that. And it doesn't matter if it's an invite for a freebie (I can dream even though I know there is no way that's gonna happen) or just a smiley face and a hello — zero tolerance! What's more, I don't ask you to like it and I don't care if you like it. You may or may not like the cold hard facts, but that is it with the majority of guys.

Hmmmmm........

I guess I am the "odd man out" here. I guess I only feel this way because I have no SO, so I'm not worried about anyone reading my e-mails, texts, etc.

If a provider just shot me occasional messages wishing me a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, etc. I am flattered. But, ONLY if I had seen her before. I think getting these from a provider whom I have never seen is a little on the creepy side.
I have also had them PM me saying that they had an open schedule on a certain date. That does kinda cross the boundaries of soliciting, but I'm glad they at least thought of me.

If a provider does start to get a little annoying with her messages, I will definitely not be afraid to tell her so. To me, it is all about personal boundaries.

It is indeed about personal boundaries and yours are more loose than others. As well, you are probably more of the exception than the rule.

I think for many guys, the correct explanation is "brains of mush." Maybe including me as well.

Dude was Rude.

Anyone who can't handle security on an email needs look in his mirror and tighten his game.

Wish me well anytime, anyone.

but think what you like.

bit of a double standard tho. how about we make it even since Providers too have family and SOs how about guys never text or email or Call out to the blue. you know just to make it fair. Never!

Not exactly a double standard here...We post ads/comments ect so that these gents WILL contact us..
.Alot of the guys do not want to be contacted unless they reach out first and unfortunately you found one and he let you know it..Sorry he was mean to you about it. I have always followed the rule that unless I have been told the words..you can contact me anytime... then I never make first contact.....

I think in this case thou..you sent out a well meaning greeting to someone who didnt enjoy the time he spent with you and well he let you know it...Granted it was Christmas time so he could have been a little nicer but from his response seems like it goes beyond being contacted out of blue

Personally I think if she got a hold of him on eccie then whats the big deal, dude just wanted to be a butt head or maybe his holiday wasnt going so good, I got lots of texts and pms wishing me Happy Holidays, my advice is brush it off your shoulder. Since my accident and my zen friend I have learned to try to not let the little stuff get you mad, you cant please everyone sweetie, all you can do is try, shit I will come over for a sandwhich thats more then alot of people give. I give me and a beverage if they want, soda, water or coffee ( always have some brewing). Dont let one person get you down deary, if you cant do anything about something then whats the use of getting mad its a waste of energy and emotions. Theres a 100 good guys on here for every one asshole, even then I am learning the assholes are even good guys once you get to know them.
