As for the pinging, I never gave it much credit. First, the Chinese heard it and who knows how good their equipment is?

Second, according to reports, OTHER things could have caused a similar electfical signal - although they neve quite say what.

I go on the assumption that the US Navy - an possible other navies - has sensor devices buried all over the worlds oceans that transmit signals from time to time. It could have been one of those devices that the Chinese ship detected.

I believe the flight is on the bottom of the ocean. I just don't know where. I do hope they find it - just to shut up the asshole conspiracy theorists.
