Austin has their interpretations, I guess, but that follows along with a lot of other "stuff" there ... but I also recall seeing it posted in the Houston threads at least a couple of times. Is it enforced?

The interpretation is from a Houston modtard who happens to be a modtard in Austin as well. I used that quote to cut off any comment from SL that he didn't know Houston interpreted it differently. Spice has interpreted it the same in both cities.

Putting aside the "awkward" wording of your question, what really matters is the label "Private Message," since it implies the communications within will be Private. But there are other seemingly inconsistently applied "rules," on and off the board.

So in that environment a conservative approach seems safest.
