And I have voted for only one Democrat, George McGovern in 1972. All my votes have been Libertarian or Constitution Party. I miss Harry Browne. If the Republican Party is destroyed in this election - good! Maybe a real Party with balls that truly supports liberty will rise in its place. Not that we will have any country left after Hillary. But just in case.
The only reason I'm voting for Trump is that he is not Hillary, and to be honest, I'm not sure I want him to be my first Republican vote at this point. And you people are deluded if you think Kasich or some other weak, RINO, Establishment Republican could beat Hillary. The Clinton's play the game of politics and personal destruction better than anyone. Trump is the only one with the balls to fight back. He is the only one with the courage to tell the truth about the Clinton's. But he had baggage, as they all do, and they used it effectively against him. They have the media on their side. We needed a candidate who demanded media coverage. Trump was the only one. And they destroyed him, with a lot of help from him, to be honest.
So thanks for trying, Donald, and sayonara Republican Party. And good riddance.

Dear Sistine Chapel,
It was long because your enlightenment is important to me. If you now believe that possibly the status quo is preferable to 15-20 years of the unbridled "Progressive" agenda, or if you are a little less likely to believe all that you see on MSNBC, then you're making progress.
Sincerely,
Tiny

Yeah, I'd a million times rather have Harry Browne (may he rest in peace) as president than either of the two jokers running right now. However, Hillary will probably be our next president. And if indeed Trump takes the Republican Party down with him, for good, then you can look forward to spending the rest of your life in a country dominated by Hillarycrats. That's unless you leave, which is what I'd do.
Btw, I donated to an organization that ran a web site that Browne contributed to extensively. And I voted for him in 2000.

I don't think he would blow the top off the Clinton and the Bush Crime machine as a joke. You're as crazy as a shit house rat.

Keep it in context old timer. Status Quo for the next 4 yrs is what I explicitly said. Why? Because nothing Progressive will get done in one term. Especially after this election cycle. Bernie may not be on the ticket but his Coalition along with Obama's is strong and will keep pushing the Progressive agenda. Elizabeth Warren will be next after Hillary.

Dear Sistine Chapel,
Good, four years will give me time to establish residency in the Philippines before I renounce U.S. citizenship. That's where eccie old timers go when we're put out to pasture.
Sincerely,
Tiny

About moving if Sistine Chapel is right, that Elizabeth Warren & Co. will dominate America for 15 to 20 years? Absolutely, I'll leave. And I'll renounce citizenship. This is even though the Reed Amendment (pushed through by Senator Jack Reed, Democrat, Rhode Island) would potentially prevent me from ever seeing a couple of family members again.
As to the Philippines, I probably wouldn't move there. I said that because it fits with Sistine Chapel's prejudices of your typical non-Democrat eccie poster, a 75 year old with bad hygiene who sweats a lot, lives off social security, and whose wet dream is banging an endless stream of teenaged hot and cold running little-brown-fucking-machines in a third world country. That said, the Philippines could be a good choice. If you're an English speaker, It's the most language-friendly country in east/Southeast Asia next to Singapore. You can get a residence visa. And you wouldn't pay Philippino tax on any income realized outside of the Philippines, unless you're a citizen of the USA or Eritrea, which are the only countries that continue to tax their citizens anywhere in the world. That's why renouncing your citizenship might be desirable. I spend hundreds of hours a year working on tax reporting and would love to kiss that goodbye.
I noticed the Lbfm in your signature. Do you have any experience/thoughts about the country?
Sorry to hijack your thread Sistine Chapel. Just kidding, I'm not
