Avatars that depict/condone violence/abuse, that are racist, that celebrate intolerance or show ravages of disease are troublesome/inappropriate.

Avatars related to sex/sexuality and the very intimate acts often written about in this community are not disturbing to me. Like porn, not every type is meant for everyone, so don't look, or take precautions so you don't see.

As for an avatar being an insight into a one's personality or character, that's like judging a book by it's cover. It's the posts that carry more weight for me. Some of the most nondescript avatars have the most offensive, divisive posts.

It's ironic that the issue of obscenity in our community would be broached on the board. If the mainstream community could peek inside it would label much of the discussions and the acts sought and bought as obscene.

I'm wearing sunglasses in my avatar so I don't cause all the ladies to be mesmerized by the sparkle in my eyes. Just being thoughtful!!

It is more often then not the avatars, handles , signature lines , etc. reflect something , about the creator's personality . It is quite hard for humans to choose completely random options. We are so easy to be profiled, because unconsciously people want to be profiled.

While it doesn't make a 100% impression, I do sort of judge people on their name and avatar choices here...both men and women. I try to look past, but some,like mentioned,are so offensive (not sexually) that I really can't.

There are a few posters here who I have no problems with, but I always think...why the hell did you pick that name or why that photo????

It's as good an explanation as I've ever seen. The sense of entitlement from (some, not all, not even the majority of) Eccie ladies lately is unreal. Complaining about things that don't matter, openly insulting vast swaths of the membership when they get pissy at one of us, and the general vibe of "I'm too good for this shit" they're putting off. Flaking on appointments, and I swear to Christ one lady in another thread actually, without a trace of humor, complained that her clients weren't very attractive.

Shit's gone fucking crazy. Dudes gotta stop letting themselves get walked on. I'm not saying declare war on all the ladies, I like some of them. But how about just the ones who have, for lack of a better term, Golden Pussy Syndrome?
