Thought for a while that Beto was the stronger of the two, just due to all the comparisons to (and promotion of being like) Obama. Now, they are running "white privilege" pieces on Beto. was it disrespect when G H W Bush referred to SAADAM Hussein? on purpose of course. and the press was just fine with it i recall. don't recall if it  was Tom Brokaw or Jennings but one of them referred to Saudi Arabia as "SAAUDAY ARAbia" during a news cast.

You are absolutely correct, Chung Tran.  I've seen it done most often whenever pronouncing someone's name wrong supposedly deflects from the fact that the argument that person is bringing to the table doesn't have enough merit to stand on its own legs, so they either mispronounce or even make up a similar name to the subject, like Pussolini or some such juvenile drivel.
