How long should it take to respond to an appointment request?

I usually put a notice on my voice mail and a vacation response on email if I'm going to be out-of-touch more than a couple of days, but those somehow get overlooked, too, and there isn't any way to note excused absences for pm's. And like the other ladies, a 10-words-or-less request to "call me and we'll hook up" or worse yet, "I want to f--- you, so how much?" gets NONE of my typing time. (Alas, I have received the latter from ECCIE members, especially now that we providers can no longer put our rates in ads.)

Of course, cobwebs on the keypad with no response, no explanation, or a subsequent apology isn't acceptable, but the same applies for you gentlemen, too. If I need more info or have a problem with your references, please politely cooperate and don't complain that I'm being difficult or nosy, and if I say absolutely yes, we can get together at your specified time, here's the directions, please be courteous and tell me you've made other arrangements and not leave me hanging.

My observation and complaint wasn't in regard to a couple of hours, or even days! Were talking weeks! It’s as thou you need to send out a shot gun blast and hope you hit one or two. FYI: I did NOT have this issue in Houston or any other city to speak of. I still have not hear back from any providers in Las Vegas. That’s been 6-7 days now. While doing my Idaho tour I contacted 14 providers. I reached all but one and she called back late that same day! (Note: BP Providers!) I completed a little test! I PM'D 6 Dallas providers yesterday. I heard back from 4 of them. I purposely chose providers with NO phone numbers or web sites. BIG DIFFERENCE!

I’m very interested in meeting you. I have a very open schedule! I can forward as many references as you would like. Please let me know when you are available and what I might do to secure an appointment. Feel free to call me any time!

That's just sad, and bad manners. Their mamas would be appalled...well, actually that's probably the LEAST thing that their mamas would be appalled at, but that's another thread.

No excuse, then, other than bad business skills, worse communication skills, or rock bottom flat they just don't care. This is one reason why some providers, ahem, who may not be the prettiest or the youngest in the profession still manage to hang in there as others come and go. (Much to the utter surprise of some gentlemen, I know.) A good attitude, a sense of responsibility, and a wee bit of organization go a long way.

I'm glad that the hospitable ladies of Houston showed their Southern breeding.

Most have it, some don't. So don't contact a lady with expectations of receiving a quick reply.

Every lady reserves the right to refuse communication with anyone she deems fit.
I realize that may not sit well with some. But no lady owes any hobbyist a reason why she won't see him or why she won't reply to him. And vice versa.
If it's been 3 weeks since you've contacted certain ladies w/o receiving a reply in return. You pretty got your answer. Move on.

I would also think that since most providers travel alot they can't really concentrate and read and reply to a pm while they are driving

I've had some pms go unanswered and sadly I have to move on. Some providers get annoyed if you keep pming them or use everyway to contact them, they'll think you're impatient.

OK, maybe that's not true, but it looks that way if you are judging by eccie's Vegas forum. Less than 50 providers listed with showcases. Less than 10 reviews in the month of June. Do you really think those girls are checking their PMs every day?

To answer your question,
If it's e-mail I'll give her two days. If I send a P-411 request, for some irrational reason that I can not explain I expect them to answer more quickly, at about a day.

I don't like a provider answering her phone during a session with me. I don't expect her to do it to someone else just because it's me calling or texting. If she doesn't answer I figure there's at least an hour before she can check her messages, maybe two. Add a shower and some food, and it's three. More than four and she's either very booked, or not that interested in getting my business. If it happens more than two or three times, I'll stop trying to reach her.

I don't take it personally if someone I've never met doesn't return a call, or an e-mail. That just seems to me to be common sense. On the other hand, I will form an opinion of how that person takes care of business.

I realize these are short times, but I also have a short attention span, and a list much longer than my wallet of ladies I want to see, so NEXT!

Some of the complaints by providers seem a bit whiny. I won't call anyone I don't know after about 11pm, but if they answer posts for late night or put "24-7" in their ads, I have no problem with it. A text is a short e-mail, and your phone beeps when you get one. They are any-time communications.
As someone suggested, turn off your phone if you are not taking calls. We will hear that the call went straight to voice mail, and know you are not open for business.

I would say 24 hours, Ive always been good about quick responses with the exception of being with family/sick etc.
Now this can work the other way, ive responded quickly & then not heard back for days from a few which messed up my schedule because I didn't know if something came up etc, then at the last minute receive a pm -are we still on? lol ...really ??
