WASHINGTON—House Committee on Oversight and Reform Ranking Member James Comer (R-Ky.) and House Committee on the Judiciary Ranking Member Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) today called for a transcribed interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci after new information reveals he may have concealed information from government officials about COVID-19 originating from the Wuhan lab and the virus possibly being genetically manipulated. The new information also indicates Dr. Fauci and former Director of the National Institutes of Health Dr. Francis Collins may have colluded with other scientists to downplay the lab leak theory.
“We write to request a transcribed interview of Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director, U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Excerpts of emails we are making public today reveal that Dr. Fauci was warned of two things: 1) the potential that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute Virology (WIV) and 2) the possibility that the virus was intentionally genetically manipulated. It is imperative we investigate if this information was conveyed to the rest of the government and whether this information would have changed the U.S. response to the pandemic,” wrote Ranking Members Comer and Jordan.
Excerpts of emails released today reveal the following:
January 27, 2020: Dr. Fauci knew NIAID had funded EcoHealth Alliance, the WIV was a subgrantee of EcoHealth, and EcoHealth was not in compliance with its grant reporting, in particular a grant that NIAID knew had gain-of-function potential on novel bat coronaviruses.
February 1, 2020: Dr. Fauci, Dr. Collins, and at least eleven other scientists convened a conference call to discuss COVID-19. On the conference call, Drs. Fauci and Collins were first warned that COVID-19 may have leaked from the WIV and may have been intentionally genetically manipulated.
February 4, 2020: After speaking with Drs. Fauci and Collins, four participants of the conference call abandoned their belief the virus originated from the Wuhan lab and authored a paper entitled “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2.” Prior to final publication in Nature Medicine, the paper was sent to Dr. Fauci for editing and approval.
April 16, 2020: More than two months after the original conference call, Dr. Collins emailed Dr. Fauci expressing dismay that the Nature Medicine article—which they saw prior to publication and were given the opportunity to edit—did not squash the lab leak hypothesis and asks if the NIH can do more to “put down” the lab leak hypothesis.
April 17, 2020: After Dr. Collins explicitly asked for more public pressure, Dr. Fauci cited the Nature Medicine paper from the White House podium likely in an effort to further stifle the hypothesis COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan lab.

Pfizer reported that its vaccine shows a 95% efficacy. That sounds like it protects you 95% of the time, right? But that’s not actually what that number means. That 95% refers to the Relative Risk Reduction (RRR), but it doesn’t tell you how much your overall risk is reduced by vaccination. For that, we need Absolute Risk Reduction (ARR).
During the Pfizer trial, 0.88% of the placebo group got covid-19 and 0.04% of the vaccinated group got covid-19. So the ARR or net benefit that you’re being offered with the Pfizer vaccine is 0.84%. That 95% number refers to the relative difference between 0.88% and 0.04%. That’s what they call 95% RRR.
Relative Risk Reduction is well known to be a misleading number, which is why the FDA recommends using Absolute Risk Reduction instead, which begs the question of how many people would have chosen to take the COVID-19 vaccines had they understood that they offered less than 1% benefit❓
Pfizer introduced a high level of subjectivity into the trial by leaving it up to the discretion of investigators whether or not to test participants for covid-19. This means not only did Pfizer completely miss asymptomatic infections, but the entire results of the trial are unreliable because this lack of objective testing.
During the trial, there were 8 cases out of 18,198 in the vaccinated group and 162 cases out of 18,325 in the placebo group, but Pfizer did not test a total of 3,410 suspected cases (1,594 vaccinated and 1,816 placebo) who were symptomatic with covid-19.
There is good reason to be skeptical of the trial results when the number of subjects who were symptomatic but never tested are significantly higher than the clinical trial endpoint numbers.

Misleading Demographics Testing On Young And Healthy
Pfizer’s trial used younger and healthier participants than those who are most at risk from covid-19. While 85% of people most at risk of death from covid-19 are over the age of 75, only 4% of trial participants were over the age of 75.
While 95% of people who have died with covid-19 had an average of 4 co-morbidities, only 21% of participants in Pfizer’s clinical trial had co-morbidities. Pfizer excluded a list of health conditions from the trial; hypertension, diabetes, obesity, asthma, immunocompromised, pregnant, breastfeeding, bleeding conditions, etc. Therefore, there is no data to make safety claims about people with these health conditions.
Pfizer chose participants from a younger and healthier demographic that would be less likely to need a vaccine, less likely to suffer an adverse event, and more likely to respond well than the elderly or those with multiple health conditions.
Pfizer’s data shows a significant increase in the risk of illness or adverse events for the vaccinated. You won’t actually find it in the report itself. You have to dig into the supplementary appendix in order to find it.
There you find, 5,241 related adverse advents in the vaccinated group versus 1,311 related adverse events in the placebo group. For severe adverse events (interferes significantly with normal function), there were 262 in the vaccinated group versus 150 in the placebo group. And, for serious adverse events (hospital or ER), there were 127 in the vaccinated group versus 116 in the placebo group.
In other words, there was a 300% increase of related adverse events, a 75% increase of severe adverse events, and a 10% increase of serious adverse events.

Pfizer’s 6-month trial data shows an increased risk of death for the vaccinated. Before the trial was unblinded, there were 15-deaths in the vaccinated group versus 14-deaths in the placebo group.
After the trial was unblinded, there were 5 more vaccinated deaths with 3 from the original vaccinated group (before trial was unblinded) and 2 from the original placebo group (crossed over to the vaccinated group). Pfizer buried these 5-deaths in the report rather than putting them on a table like the others.
In sum, there were 20 total deaths in the vaccinated group versus 14 total deaths in the placebo group. Furthermore, there were almost twice as many cardiovascular deaths among the vaccinated with 9 in the vaccinated group versus 5 in the placebo group.
