"Hey, that asshole in the video, does he work for you?" "Well, uh, yeah he does." "You know, I thought that was a classless thing to do. I think I'll go to Company B across the street to do business with. I don't like associating with people like the kind you have working for you."

That has not a goddam thing to do with freedom of speech. Sorry, but those of you who think it does, really don't know what you're talking about.

I already told you we do not need an 7th grade Civics class teacher.

I also already told you that in the real world you have as much freedom of speech as your employer allows.

Teaching a class about business is different that running a business.

Just like talking about freedom of speech is way different than how the real world actually is.

All I said was that your employer sets the limits of your free speech in the real world.

Nothing you have posted changes that statement.

If you have an employer that thinks they can control your every breath like you and UB9IB6, your freedom of speech will be very limited. If you have someone like me , all you have to do is produce while you are on the job. I could care less if on your off time you want to go protest in a silly way at Chickie Fil A! Corporate America is against free speech. They terminate employees that pop off on Facebook and protest. So far the courts have upheld their actions.

I do find it funny that the company had to fire the guy after recieving all the hate calls from Christians! Tell Kayla there is another example of a religion of love right there. Such a forgiving religion, that Christianity!

You only know his excuse. You have no idea what really went down.

But I agree, Christians can be vicious. Most of the people I've dealt with in my business who wear their "Born Again" Christianity on their sleeve have either tried or succeeded in cheating me. I do not trust them. Once in awhile you get one who walks the talk, but mostly they seem to think they're special and don't have to follow the rules like other people.

However, this guy is a clod. I'm fairly certain his company was just looking for an excuse to fire him in a manner that wouldn't subject them to paying unemployment. He gave it to them.
