Actually if everyone was like Chris Christie Medicare would run a surplus. He's morbidly obese. It's very unlikely that he's going to live to a ripe old age. Medicare is for old people. The odds are very good he'll be dead from a heart attack before he reaches retirement age.

Ironically, it's the people that take care of themselves that are using up the Medicare money. You should be angry at the joggers and the vegetarians.

Yes but his end of life care is what costs.

People in shape use their SS benifits but not so much Medicare benifits. Medicare benifits are what is escalating.

We should let people die with diginity. Dr Korvorkian should be a viaible option to those so inclined. Were it there own dime they were spending and their kids inheirtance people would think more about this option.

When it is my time, I'll go back to that modern country the Netherlands where that is a viable and totally legal option.
I've seen how it works. My own father went that way.
