I only go to events , clubbings, dance gatherings, spiritual consciousness explorations, where age, and age-bashing doesn`t matter. I had dates older than me and - yes - they went dancing. One of my closest best gf owns a club together with her husband and they have quite the age gap. So if you want to move or dance , for me its the music that matters.
I don`t see Burningman only being for 20 or 40 year olds.
As to hotness delusion syndrome - i assume no matter at what age - this can happen. As it says its a delusion :-)

There are dance clubs in my town that host dancers of all ages. They don't seem to have a problem with mixed ages. For my part though, at my age I don't even believe what the younger folks are doing should be called dancing.
