The upward joyride will not continue forever. Eventually there will be a "correction" and the average investor will lose quite a bit of money.

Trump Tower wasn’t built in a day.
Well, I remember during the presidential campaign that Trump was touting a wonderful health plan that would be far better than Obamacare. What happened to that plan? It certainly wasn't the one brought through either the House or the Senate. Trump promised a repeal and replace of Obamacare. Hasn't happened. Why it hasn't happened is irrelevant.

GDP was up under Obama. Unemployment went from 10% to 4.6% under Obama. DJIA went from 6,600 to over 20,000 under Obama. I don't mind giving Trump credit for continuing to improve the economy, but Obama inherited a mess. Trump inherited a healthy economy and is continuing that upward trend.

Border crossings were trending downward BEFORE Trump took office. The lifting of regulations has done little to help the average person on the streets. Feel free to show what regulations that have been lifted have helped either you or me. The appointing of a new judge to the Supreme Court was going to happen so I don't know why it is called a "victory". ISIS? I agree that there have been some nice victories against ISIS but we shall see what happens in the future. They have a way of re-appearing elsewhere. So far, so good.

My opinion that there have been no major victories for Trump since he took office is hardly a singular opinion. That is why tax reform has taken on such significance and is being pushed so hard by Republicans in congress. Without it being passed, those up for re-election have little to go back to their constituencies and say "Look what we've accomplished".

I really don't care. Trump won. Clinton lost. Life goes on. There is very little that Trump, or Clinton had she been elected, will do that will impact my life dramatically in any way.

Congress makes the laws, not the POTUS. You can point your finger at the impotent Republican Congress, not Trump. And the GDP was rising under Obama is laughable. Obama had the lowest GDP of any POTUS in 60yrs. And border crossings are down 70%. Obama doesn’t WANT any credit for that. Trump established the redline with Syria. Obama wimped out. Trump signed new trade agreements with Asian countries that will benefit American workers. Trump is about America first, Obama apologized for America. And the Califate is all but gone. It only took 10 months under Trump. It’s a new day in America. The economy is growing faster than it has in 20yrs. You can bury your head in the sand. But things are better now.

I think if Tuesday showed anything it’s that white collar voters, while delighted to continue making money in the market — thanks President Obama, btw — were not willing to vote in favor of the Sphincter and his Policies of assholiness again.

He won’t complete his first term.

It is no wonder why you support Donald Trump. You two have so much in common.
Enjoy the next 4 (or 8) years complaining about President Hillary Clinton. People like you deserve her.”

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?...post1058503051
But at the same time he keeps fabricating his bullshit to fit the reality on the ground as he emerges from his wishful dreams.

Example: He claimed one could drive any where they wanted on a campus with a permit to they can only drive at certain times without a permit ..... (after seeing the RULES) .... to it's not against the law to exceed the speed limit unless an officer stops the driver for speeding!!!!! Liberal "thought" and "philosophy" .... by Speedo: "It's only against the law if they catch me!"

No wonder he voted for HillariousNoMore!!!!

Yes, Congress makes the laws but the POTUS has great influence on the people in Congress. Why do you think he has a parade of Congressmen and Congresswomen in the White House when a controversial bill is coming up for a vote?

Remember that Obama inherited an economy that was in the toilet. Unemployment went from 10% to 4.6%. DJIA tripled. If you want to give praise to Trump for the improvement in the economy since he's been in office I'm fine with that. But to ignore the improvement while Obama was in office is ignoring the truth.

ISIS is not gone. I guarantee you that it will rear its ugly head again and again.

Less than 40% (36% and sinking according to the link below) of the people in this country agree with you that Trump is doing a good job as POTUS. That despite most people believing the economy is improving dramatically.

You already posted the statement I made prior to the election:

"Trump has as much chance of being elected POTUS as you have of being a compassionate human being."

I admitted already that I was wrong and I will say again I was wrong. It was hardly a lie anymore than all the polls predicting a Clinton win were lies. They were wrong. Unlike you, I admit when I've made an incorrect statement.

The last time I was on the UT campus I parked at the garage around Trinity and 17th to attend the football game. The time before that I parked on the street on Red River in front of the LBJ library after parking restrictions expired and walked to Bass. Did not have to pass any security guard gates in order to do so. There are MANY ways to get onto the UT campus in a car without passing security guard gates. Since you probably haven't been on the campus since they expanded beyond 40 acres, you wouldn't know that.

So I am still waiting for you to tell me what I've lied about

Very cute anecdote on liberals. Especially from someone who is clueless as to why I consider myself to be a liberal.

Lying, ignorant, redneck, hillbilly.
