I am glad you pointed that out, ie bait/switch, as it has been brought up before.
Advertising X and selling Y are two different things
A "yes" is appropriate if you would buy Y again.
If I click an AD of "Jaguar-hotty" and I go there and get "ford-escort", I might be bothered, and I'd reflect what happens in my review.
The question remains, would I see "ford-escort" again?
that's what a review is all about,

From time to time I have been invited to participate in a product evaluation, the usual pay is a token for your time of $100. Because I was a guy, of the right age, I joined a group. After we were all there we were given five pressurized cans of shaving cream and instructed on how to rate each of the products. OK, I can do that. This is interesting.
What I didn't tell them was that I quit using shaving cream in a can over 50 years ago. I think I get a much better shave, and a more comfortable shave from the soap in a mug with a shaving brush.
Did that stop me from evaluating each can of shaving cream against each other? I didn't think so.
I gave each can a well thought out evaluation. But, I didn't think any of them performed as well as the mug soap; I still use the mug soap for shaving. As an added value, Mug soap is very much cheaper to use than the canned shaving cream.
The final thought: it would not have been fair for the survey to compare the canned shaving cream to the mug soap when I already knew that my prejudice was for mug soap.

you stopped using shaving cream 50 yrs ago?
How old are you? let's say you started getting hair at 10, your 60?
There is no reason to bore us with your shaving cream story...it reminds me you talking about how you caught the ferry over to Shelbyville... ... So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time...
Another useless old man story..
to make your shaving tale work for seeing hookers would never see hookers because you use your hand/soap
yet you see hookers, so your story isnt an appropriate analogy,
your final thought is irrelevant, they paid you to compare the products they gave you, which you did, not the fact you don't shave/ your husband prefers a beard/etc
If you wouldnt see a hooker again, then dont give her a yes recommendation.
or explain your yes/no answer.
if you wouldnt see a hooker because..*ANY REASON*, then she gets a no
why then did you see her at all?
Again, your shaving story doesnt work as an analogy
why is this so hard a concept to understand??

Please note, I'm serious when I ask this, WTF is wrong with some of you guys?? You have been baited-n-switched, yet you still do a review with a 'YES' recommendation? Essentially, you have been lied to and played for a fool... sigh.. I'm genuinely befuddled. Most Guys respond with, "I was thinking with my little head" or "She was really nice even though the pics were not of her' or "She used fake pics for security reasons" Buuuulllshit. Bullshit bullshit. Then, to add insult to injury, you slaphappy push-overs do a fuckin review on the bogus hooker with a YES recommendation. The next thing I know, I see all these photo-robbing skanks on P411 and datecheck and alas they then bring their fabricated ads and pics to Eccie because, obviously, some guys here give these bogus hookers glowing endorsements, sooo.. why not?! lol
Am I missing something? Anyone??..
|
It seems you are confused by ads vs what the provider is
Take Consumer Reports
if they reported on GOLDMAKER,. a device that says it will turn water into gold
you'd want to buy it, right?
but CR found that is LIED to you in its ads
it only turns Water into silver
would you still buy it?
or would you say, HELLA KNOW< DAWG< THAT THERE AD LIED TO ME! I AINT NO SUCKER!!
and not buy it
ads are not what we pay for. we pay for the person/experience
You give a yes/no if you would pay to see them again,
but that yes/no can be explained,
ie: "I would not see chestyMcboobs again because I use a mug and dish soap, but if i were to see a hooker again I'd see her"..etc is an example of explaining your NO. which makes your review worthy of reading.

Good grief, some people still don't know how to read.
"I quit using shaving cream in a can over 50 years ago. I think I get a much better shave, and a more comfortable shave from the soap in a mug with a shaving brush."
Try it, you might like it. Let's just say I am older than 70 and I still appreciate women.

Seriously, do you have anything intelligent or valuable to add to a fucking thread? ...Or a new marketing strategy other than you repeatedly announcing that you suck any AND every cock [for 30fuckingbucks] waved in your unkempt face?? Or will you always hijack others' threads with your conspicuous attempts at advertising?

Through this endless diatribe something is lost on me. Why does a women waste her time on what one guy tells another? We don't know how women think, and we know women don't know how we think. Why dwell on the differences? So what if a two bit gets a sterling review? Hell I've seen marriages that make no sense to me. There is also the sheep approach here. Many of the highly reviewed, over compensated girls are butter faces with poor skills, but great reviews keep rolling. This isn't just here its life...iwn an iphone? You bought the hype. So heres your big insight. We just want to be acknowledged so we want everyone to think we've paved the way. Nothing more.

Should be Duck Soup for a gentleman of your superior intellect. Very simple, explain "attack her in a public discussion." I can't find anyone who got the memo. For the life of me I can't understand how someone of your stature would put forth propaganda.. Just link the "discussion" in question and I promise to go away..
Oh and IMO you should get the surgery, My Dad got it on both eyes and it really helped..
