Rate postings come up in cycles here on the forums...Bottom line is you charge what you charge and that is the end of it...People that pay the rate are your target customers people that do not or bitch, whine and moan are not.

I've seen many recent (within 2 months) postings lamenting rates set forth by NYS providers...They piss and moan in review comments...in the co-ed forum...and ISO strings...I've even seen some posts mentioning "hobbyist's on a budget" with 'target ranges of rates. Like ISO post's asking "Hey who's a good one for $200?" It's even gotten to the point where I've seen providers have been bamboozeled into posting about "are my rates wrong" or "too high" etc.

All that is fine and dandy but bottom line is the ladies set their rates and that is that? Complaining never lowers them. If it's too high for your budget then IT IS. Save up or act like the gov't and do deficit spending to get there. Point is here is a rate to see a lady and here are the choices...these options are even adaptible for a "budget hobbyist"...

1) Anty up...pay and play.

2) Lurk never meet and mull on it forever. By then your bank account will be sufficient to occasionally "treat" yourself. That is unless you're piss poor with your money and then you are just back to lurk and mull.

3) Log onto eccie...select showcases...Buy a $39.99 Fleshlight...Go to town for $40 and get sexual gratification and a nice arm workout to boot. (this will also make your arms buff for the ladies for any possible future "real" visits if you stop acting cheap.)

4) Look to be a frequent member of discount clubs...a la: CL (cheap list) or BP (bargain page) NOTE: caveat emptor... CL & BP is loaded with well...there are enough alerts, reviews, and ISO strings on here to make even an ameba understand that you will be very wary of what you can get...so I'll just leave it at that. Pay for quality or slum it along for humps that expose you to many risks & "bad habits" (And by bad habits, I'm not referring to naughty nuns)

One thing about this whole rate situation that I think many people forget is this: The phrase "Silence is Golden"...That many pay a rate for an NSA encounter that they want on the down low...That may be for any number of reasons SO's, Job security, etc whatever. But hobbying to most is a secerative lifestyle is the point I'm getting at and paying the rate is your security deposit to ensure silence remains golden...Last time I checked the Gold prices were a high commodity right now...So look at the rate as the amount of gold your willing to pay to be worth protecting your NSA secret.

I don't get too much of it, my price's are higher and it just eliminates them from the start. Im geared more of high end than the cheapos. Im the same way with my day job, I dont want cheap clients.
