Came off as rude to me. And who are you to decide how he should prioritize his duties?

The review you referenced was an NCNS. That is not an alert. The description of the Alerts forum is...

Issues which could endanger the safety of a member or members of our community go here. Please reserve this space for legitimate alerts, and not general FYI material.
|
That review does not meet that criteria. Also, since it does contain information for the members it will remain where it is.
We are getting off topic here. Let's not do that. Other topics can be started in their own threads.

I know that I stated to remain on topic but this needs to be addressed.
There are guidelines in place for the staff to follow when they have to determine if a thread or a post is to be closed, edited, moved, removed, etc. If you see that no action was taken then that means the circumstances did not meet the staff guidelines for any kind of action.
Also, following up on issues reported to staff can take time to process. Sometimes quite a bit of time. You all have no idea the length of time or the tediousness of the work involved to follow up on some of the issues that are brought to our attention. Review disputes can be the worst. Sometimes they can be like real messy divorces. It is very difficult to get good credible and concrete information and if we are not able to get that information so we can verify who is right and who is not then there is not much that we can do. We cannot act on "he said, she said" situations. Tracking down reported leaks from the private forums is also very difficult. So is investigating multiple handles. It is all very tedious detective work and it all takes time.
All of the staff members are imperfect humans just like the rest of you and we try our best here. If any of you feel that you can moderate, by all means, contact the site owners and volunteer. We can always use the help.
Now, back to the original topic.

I have enough of a general idea of what you do and what it takes to do it that it's not a job I'd want.

I wasn't referring to you Ms.
Also, I'm not sure why it's still interesting to you, he explained the reasoning behind why the post is still there.
Also, it seems you're implying some type of bias, but it's nothing I've ever seen. In reference to the thread starter, he's given her a positive review and was still able to look at the thread in question and leave it as is, because that's what he believed the rules required.

@Mokoa with all due respect, there have been reviews of NCNS that were removed from the review section in the past because, "no provider activity happened", hasn't there? I do think that the review forum is the wrong vehicle for a review of no contact occuring to be posted. Regardless of what positive value it may have in helping others whether or not to call/schedule with CC.
As far as disrespectful behaviour goes, CC was labeled a sociopath with a pseudo-official sounding checklist, by a person who did not get to meet her in person. Doesn't that sound a little disrespectful? Also a violation of rule #16 of forum guidlines if I am not mistaken, as a diagnosis of Sociopathic Behaviour IS a medical condition. (I also wonder about diagnostic criteria i.e. is he a licensed therapist? but that is an entirely different matter...)

#24 - Disputed reviews will not be removed by staff unless the request is made by the thread starter. In situations such as this, the proper protocol for addressing a review in question is to post a rebuttal to the review in that city forum's coed discussions area. Staff will be happy to do some basic investigation to confirm the validity of such reviews, however removal will only take place when requested by the thread-starter or in extreme cases where it has been proven false, there is an admission by the reviewer that the review is indeed false, or the reviewer failed to cooperate with staff's efforts to confirm validity. In cases where a reviewer is found to have posted a review of a session which did not take place, or posted blatantly false information within a review, the reviewer will be subject to disciplinary action at the discretion of staff, which could lead to loss of posting privileges. Along those same lines, if the reviewed party is found to be making false or inaccurate claims to staff in an attempt to trigger staff action against a reviewer or the removal of a review, that party will also be subject to consequences, up to or including temporary or permanent loss of account access. These measures exist to preserve the integrity of the information posted in our review forums, and will be taken when these circumstances exist.
FYI, also from the forum guidelines & rules

This thread has obviously garnered a lot of attention. Bottom line is he has stated what happened and she has basically admitted it and said she will try to change this "habit". If you guys want to holler "parlimentary procedure", go ahead. This is valid information, wherever it goes!
Oh, I interpret that rule to mean you can't just make up an imaginary review. Whether it is to help or hurt the provider, it's not allowed.

Budman you are one person in this huge website and I am not here to argue your point that what Cristie Pie did was absolutely fucked up. And yes she did apologize in her own way on here stating she will kick her bad habit of doing such a thing. By the way because of me defending a lil 20 year old girl I have had one client decide not to see me. He insinuated that I would do the same thing to him which is flippin crazy. His loss not mine I would NEVER do such a thing get that straight. CC did it and she has recognized her actions and has stated she is going to stop.
Seriously some of you guys that rarely even see us providers really have HUGE opinions and very small ****. Which I totally dont even understand because theres an alert section full of flakey fucken bitches that SCAM the fuck out of you guys. THOSE ARE THE ONLY NON PROVIDERS THAT SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON!!! I have NEVER seen one of them nor there pimps and BF's and "DRIVERS" apologize AT ALL.
Take care,
Bibi

Bibi,
I find your logic hard to follow. You talk about CC like she is this naive little girl that can't do anything without the guidance of others and therefore is not responsible for her actions. I still don't see where she apologized. IMO she admitted to fucking with hobbyist by setting appointments and leading them on up to the point of the last call for room or apt. # and then refusing to answer her phone. This is a rip off of the hobbyist time. Remember, time is money. This may not reach the level of some of the BP "fucken bitches" you reference but it is still wrong.
The following statement is really to stupid to address.
"Seriously some of you guys that rarely even see us providers really have HUGE opinions and very small ****. "

LikiNikki - you have some very valid points, let me explain: If I can't see someone I will let them know I'm not available - but certain gentleman over the phone argue back and continue to beg over and over - my patience runs thin and I'm not well at dealing with those situations. I should just continue to say no and put my foot down but I find from time to time I say yes when I really mean no and by the time there already close all I want to do is go home ... I'm young and find my mood changes quickly, I get bored easily . I admit it isn't right and will try to cut this habit out. Thanks for your words <3
