Every provider's opinion of this will vary. Some are flexible, some are not. I will occasionally be flexible when I'm comfortable with the person.

Asking for a discounted rate from the get go is generally a no no though, yes. Especially when it's not multiple hour dinner dates overnights, but rather a qs, half hour- hour.
