An excellent idea, but there is absolutely no accountability for where any donations are being spent. I doubt very many people on here know Heather, except through her former profession.
Without accountability, this is a slippery slope.
Just sayin'

Now THIS is something I would donate towards. The rape crisis and abuse. Great Job Kaci!!

I agree. ESPECIALLY with the many providers I have come across lately where they bite my head off for asking for reference info and are overall catty. I have come to know some very respectable gals and if they needed help I would gladly do what I could, knowing it was going straight to them.
There are plenty of welfare service options out there. If a non provider job isnt paying enough then get a different one or a second one. I see nothing wrong with being a provider to make ends meet. If the job isnt paying enough then go provide until the bill is paid.
I do see what youre trying to do and I can commend you for trying.. but I see this going south fast. Easy handouts are addicting. Hell, id stop providing too if I knew I could get handouts. Now, NOT to step on toes because I know many out there on welfare legitimately need it to make ends meet... but there are the few out there that use it because it is a handout.. i see this as the same thing. If they want to be retired, then do what you need to be retired...including not using the hobbyworld handout. Sometimes a hard time motivates you to work harder.
I would donate if I knew funds were going towards something like what Kaci said.. for situations that are more life threatening... maybe a fund to put a provider in a safehouse or therapy from a rape, etc. Im not here to pay other peoples bills.

I think instead of collecting donations for those who retired and did not plan ahead, we should focus on making sure that ladies have:
1) Marketable skills
2) verifiable employment history
3) income making opportunities that will allow them to transition
those who are willing and capable of making this effort on behalf of their future, can use the help. Those who are not .. that's what welfare is for.

Its a big problem here in the U.S. and these kids are involved as well, and its a sad site to see, when you think you have it bad, you should see some of the ladies here at this program, they have been in places I never even dreamed of, I am NOT colleting money for myself, this is for these ladies & their kids!! and they have been around for many years!!! and they work for the girls, Some ladies thought the only way to be in this business was to have a pimp, they did not know any better, so when they walked out or woke up in a hospital beat half to death, because they wanted out, they had nothing!! and did not know where to turn to!! this is where New Life New Friends steps in, and shows them a new way!! So its more than what you think!!! Please feel free to visit their web site!!! and please donate if you want ((this is for male/females)) NOT just the clients!!! These ladies are brave, and have been through more than most!!! Its a great caring program!!!

Yes, Yes, Providers always jumping on the victim train. We are in this country. What provider is going to have her kids around in this type of business? What decent man is going to allow his kids to be in this life style? Far fetched if you ask me and you ladies got a lot of growing up to do. I can see a woman being in this business for a year or two, maybe. After that I'm sorry your an out and out idiot.
As far as pimps are concerned. I'll give you my number and address. Give my info to this ever so convincing pimp. Tell him to force me into being a gay provider. Tell him to try and make me do what you ladies do for gay men and to make me give him all my money for doing it. If you never hear from this pimp you send please don't be concerned. Also ignore the dirt mound in my back yard please.
We live in a modern day christain society. With morals and bounderies. I think every woman in america knows they don't have to suk dik for a living. When you can work anywhere and you do work under the table. How hard is it to run from a pimp and never let him know where your at?
Here we go and I'll ask again. Why did you orriginally ask only hobbiest for donations and not the providers? Heres the thing many animals in the animal kingdom don't like to screw their own kind over so this is a scam from the word say go.

Agreed. Thing is they live off hand outs. Only reason they get them is cause they look halfway decent and they have a vagina. Time catches up to us all though.

Do you think I respect the tissue paper that I wiped off with and tossed in the trash can? You ladies are simply human tissue paper that gets paid to be just that. It's part of the business that your in. HELLO?

Ok this makes just a little sinse. Heres the thing though lina. Why the hell after providing for a year and making $15,000 a month doing it can't you do this for yourself? Providing is an easier softer road for a coward in my honest opinion. Few use the fast easy money to better their futures. Yet some do it. That's what I mean when I say I can understand doing this 1 maybe 2 years. Some of these girls have done this for 15 20 25 years.
Weve all seen the broken down 1 legged lotlizards begging to give a bbbj for $10. That's where this providing road leads if you stay on it for the whole trip. Everyone knows this!!

Well let me first commend you for trying to make a difference. I have to say though, giving out money to "help" alone by it's self is not going to help as much as you might think. I call it a "bail out" rather than "help out." There needs to be services that educate & supply resources. Support services as well. Often times we need to move backward before we can move forward & those experiences (in my life anyway) are the most useful, & life lasting. People struggle every day in this world & still live on. People end up homeless, going w/o a meal or more, ect. & still live to remember it. Struggle never hurt anyone if used as a positive.

Some ladies are like all of us normal people, they enjoy the good times and dont think of the future. Most of us did this when we were young and some of the ladies have families and when they wear out they are up a creek with no paddle. I to think they should put some away but lets be real in todays world, not easy when supporting a family.
We should all feel for them and help when we can.

To a certain degree your right. Here's the thing like everyone else knows their job or company and how the company benefits work and don't work so do these grown a$$ women know how their jobs work. They also know they have NO BENIFITS OR RETIREMENT OR THAT THEY CAN'T GET SOCIAL SECURITY!! Same as a guy who has owned his own small business his whole life knows this exact same thing.
So what makes these girls so special that they don't have to grow up and be responsible? Bunch of female peter pans!!

I see she has disabled her account. I wonder how much cash she raked in and where the fuck it went. I bet she is enjoying it immensly. Anybody that sent her money is a sap. Please send me a few bucks will you. I promise to put it to good use helping providers keep their lights on by paying them to provide GFE services.

I also believe that if this type of fund/org was set up- it is a novel idea BUT it should be dealt with similar to the lines of a 401k. Have current providers who are working put a little aside out of each appt toward the fund- when they are ready to retire and need a little help along the way- that help should be there- (provided they dont vote for a leader of the organization that resembles Obama.)
Otherwise, I dont see why anyone else who is not a provider- paying into this- nice thought, but not realistic and if a provider really really really really really really wants to get OUT of the biz and become an independent person NOT associated with the hobby any longer- then providers should make that safety net with their OWN funds not that which comes from client pockets/wallets as far as THEM directly donating to this fund/org. The principle just makes more sense this way. As always, just my opinion.
I think the idea is a good one and I am all for helping others especially when they are down and need a little help once in a while. But people MUST learn to first help themselves as well and in todays world, it seems this is all too lacking. Not saying that in this specific case, but you get the point.

Yes. I think you're absolutely right. Even better yet, each independent provider can open their own IRA account... Surely there a few financial advisors or investment reps who hobby and would love to work something out with anyone who wanted to do that. You can also transfer over your old 401K that you had at a real world job into an IRA and then continue to add to it.
Or...Maybe we just need a Provider Union...like football. The Providers Association...we'd be a nice big group and could probably even get quotes on healthcare and such.
haha. I like that...The Providers Association...I think I'm so funny.
But seriously, she's right on track here. Charity doesn't really ever help as much as needed. We all should be planning for the future in some way...either schooling or investing or saving.

The fact that they are asking for money from the hobbiests and not the providers is sickening. It's the one thing I personally have never understood about people in this and similar industries. They make large sums of money fast and easy. Always thinking they can do this forever. One day they look up. Rather by choice or due to no demand because age catches up to us all and it's over. They look in their purse and after making over a million dollars over their "career" they have $15.95. True story. I knew a provider when they were far to old for the business had no choice but to get out. We were friends. I asked how much she had. $ 15.95 was all she had.
|
WHOA!!! I am doing it all wrong then....
$15K/month??? Tax Free????
I'm dumbfounded by the idea of that much money in a month....even in a quarter would be nice...
and like most other americans, I would also love to not be paying my taxes...
Oh yeeeeaaaahhhh....that would be sooooooo nice.
shocked,
Kira
