Something Progressive Socialists will never understand even though they have example after example to look at to see and understand that equality of outcome can never be achieved. Equality to achieve can only go so far too. How do we make sure a child of a drug addicted mother and father gets "equal access" to a bright future? You can't. If that child in the most tricked out classroom in the world with Einstein actually teaching the class goes home everyday to that drug addicted mother and father, they have a slim to none chance of making it and guaranteeing them a government job, with a guaranteed paycheck doesn't mean they will be a productive member of society with out which no society can survive.


If and when we take away the goodies that come with hard work and achievement gained by personal responsibility, we have lost the game. Give 100 kids the same access to the same education and a large percentage will fail unless we guarantee each and every one of them the same degree of nurture and nature. It can't be done and while we could do better in the system we have, there is no substitute for it. None.
