Well said. If he had better filtered what came out of his mouth and and shut down his Twitter account he would have been far better off.

>I don't think so. At some point I think Americans will recognize >that things aren't working, and elect someone like Ronald Reagan, >and the cycle will start all over again. The question is how long >before that happens? Hopefully we'll be like the United Kingdom, >where the Labour Party mostly dominated from 1964 to 1977 before >Margaret Thatcher and Conservatives took control. And not like the >Soviet Union where the Communist Party ruled for 70 years, >admittedly with a much firmer hand than what we're likely to see >from Democratic Socialists in the USA.

Wow. I don't know how you go from saying this right here to boing fully off the rails like you are. TRUMP is the anti-establishment person America needs. He is the next Reagan. You must be a CNN listener to think Trump is a failure. Kasich???? Really?? Wow. Just Wow.

IF Trump had the backing of Republicans either in 2016 or now, this election would be over with an electoral college landslide. But Kasich? People like Kasich, Romney, McConnell, etc ARE the problem. You want people like Kasich and McCain, and Romney so you never know what the hell they are going to do. They have no honor and their word means nothing. They buddy up with the democrats and fill a Republican slot. Your assessment of the Republican Party is wrong but more true about the Democrats, who have been taken over by socialists, communists, anarchists, and some really scary folks. Think about what you are saying. They are racists, pedophiles, molesters but they try to project their inadequacies onto others. They are fucking dangerous and we will be fucked by the millennials because they are generally brainwashed by the education system, hollywood, music, twitter, etc. They are brainless (sorry Millennials-I have heard this from many of you myself)

>Trump was a nonstarter because of his ethics and personality.

What do you mean by "non starter"? He won! He pissed off many establishment types and ALL of the Democrats to the point of making them crazy. They thought for sure that Hillary was going to win. That crazy c*** belongs in jail.

>I've gotten into bed in business with two people who are a lot >like him -- narcissist promoters who screw everyone around them. >And the results were not pretty -- lots of anal bleeding, >figuratively speaking.

Just not true. You seem to be grossly misinformed.

> If Kasich had been elected president I think Republicans would be >looking at 4 more years in the White House, as well as controlling >the Senate and/or House.

This could happen in 2020 and would if more people knew the truth. We are heading toward a Civil war especially since Pelosi is now working on removing an elected president under the 25th amendment! WHY they hell would she do this? If, as you say, Trump is going to lose in less than a month. WHY? There will be blood in the streets over this!

>If the Republican Party is to do well going forward, it needs to >shake off the Trump legacy and unite people instead of dividing >them. If it does that, it won't be looking at 40 years in the >wilderness before returning to power.

So basically, become Democrats, eh? Their problem is the old geezers who should have gone long ago. The dumbasses like Kasich, Murcowski, Collins, Romney, McConnell, many many more.

Love him or hate him, Trump FIXED this economy and it was bouncing back fast after Covid. We have some anchors in CA, MI, NY, etc holding it back but if they opened back up we would be in much better shape. THOSE wretched Democrat fucks don't care about the suffering they are causing.

Trump has negociated peace in the middle east and also Kosovo/Serbia. John Kerry in December 2016 said this would never be possible. THIS is why DJT has been nominated for the Nobel Peace prize for a third time. He will never get it because it is more about feelings and PC BS. Obama got it for some reason but nobody knows why. He was a back bencher in the senate and voted present 95 percent of the time. What the hell did he do to deserve the Nobel peace prize? Nobody knows.

Another strong contender for most clueless post of the year.

Trump is exactly what America does not need. Not 4 years ago, not 4 years from now and definitely not now.

FYI -- the bar for being nominated for the Nobel Prize is set really low. Just being nominated is not that big of an accomplishment.

I'm not even going to dignify the rest of that post by responding to any more of it.

If Trump filtered his mouth, he'd have shit coming out his ears.

291 Biden

50/50 Senate

Florida will most likely have their election results the night of.....they can early count their mail in ballots. If Trump loses Florida it's over. If Biden loses Florida then we are in for a protracted contentious election results.

Quite a lot to reply to and it's hard to read your post because our comments are mixed together. I like Kasich and Romney and respect McConnell. They've done a good job in the various political positions they've held. Your part about "you never know what the hell they are going to do. They have no honor and their word means nothing" isn't true. That sounds a lot more like the way Trump behaves.

Most Republicans haven't abandoned Trump. Some would follow him like lemmings right over a cliff. Some are doing that right now. But some like Martha McSally are having second thoughts:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/sen...es-john-mccain
https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/07/polit...lly/index.html

The part about molesters and pedophiles sounds like it's out of the Q anon playbook.

Hillary doesn't belong in jail anymore than Donald Trump does. This is not a banana republic where you incarcerate people because you don't like their politics.

Trump did a very good job with the economy other than his trade wars and the deficits. The Ryan/Trump corporate tax cuts and Trump's deregulation supercharged the economy, brought unemployment down to historically low levels, and as I've posted elsewhere did a lot to help the poor and middle class.

And I liked some of the aspects of his foreign and defense policy, especially not wanting to become involved in police interventions and wars in foreign countries. The only thing I strongly disliked was abandoning the Kurds to the Turks after they had our backs for many years.
