So far with #Truckers4Trump I have seen Liberals say, well NYC has ports. Well the truckers will be out of a job. Apparently you don't realize how many drivers are just contracted. There are many that own their own trucks. Those are needed when demand is high. They don't run, you have shortages.

They don't have to deliver anywhere they don't want to deliver period.

You need trucks coming to NYC. You need trucks to take loads from the ports. You need contracted drivers to keep up with demand.

Those are just facts... So if enough of them ban together... NYC is in for a hard time. Especially with their illegals.

Trust me, thy are feeding those illegals before they feed you lol.

These kinds of 'punish the populus' efforts are not part of my conservative value system and will have zero effect on the court ruling but maybe it makes some people feel better thinking that working people might suffer in the name of....Freedom

I doubt any REAL truckers are even involved in this. Some rich, lazy slob somewhere just pulling puppet strings on social media, making people think this is a real boycott. It's not.

Real truckers are still out there, doing their jobs. Besides, being a trucker isn't the kind of job that allows for lazy slobs to sit on their hands, and not make any money, based on some silly hero worship.

If prices get any higher in Manhattan than they already are it’ll look like the Weimar Republic. I love the city but everything is just crazy. It’s over $15 each way just to drive through the Holland Tunnel, and that’s with the EZ Pass discount.
