Not quite getting your point regarding white collar labor vs. manufactured imported and exported goods.
But as a comment, I was on the phone this morning with Maersk Lines Germany. Ended up having to talk to the Philippines and India centers.
Also received 2 scam calls from India. One wanted to give me a new SS card, the other wanted to fix my cable service.

Incentives? LOL. All we have to do is threaten to tax remittances and Mexico will do whatever we want. WE'RE keeping their economy afloat through remittance.

Probably because you never thought once about hiring Americans... thats a problem with the Democrats... they don't want gainfully employed citizens they want broke ass dependents... who will vote for more big Government. Who will in turn take more rights from the citizens.

Heck fire, if they were going to do it within a 2 hour window, you should have taken the deal. That waiting between 8 AM - 5 PM stuff with American cable companies is for the birds...

“We will be charging China an additional 10 percent Tariff, above any additional Tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States of America.”
Mr. Trump
November 25
Maybe you can send your post # 42 to him. Excerpt from post # 42:
"Flapping gums about a "Generalized 10%-20%" tariff, across the board, lacks in sense and actual reality,"

I think I just spilled-over me beer mate!
Someone mentioned Trumps approach is like a cudgel. I agree, it's a blunt instrument attack.

The idea that democrats want “broke ass dependents” is about as looney tunes as it sounds. And deporting working age people when we have a 4% unemployment rate doesn’t make sense. Implementing 25% generalized tariffs on our largest and most integrated trading partners is just stupid.
From my point of view this is just going to raise prices, increase inflation and raise interest rates accordingly.
That’s just going to make more broke ass dependents as well as broke ass retired people.
Welcome to the chaos of the New Trump Order!

I was referring to Trump's tariffs which means imported goods. Tariffs are not only meant to generate revenue for the government but also to increase domestic production of these goods. To do that requires increased domestic blue-collar labor like manufacturing and factory jobs.
Anyway, I kind of just went off on a tangent about other labor that is not here domestically, hence me rambling on about white-collar labor that could be here as well. My bad for going off on a little tangent.
My point was that those blue-collar jobs are not coming back to the states regardless of those tariffs, but many lower tier white-collar jobs could be brought back through incentives (tax).

I missed the part were he said for all trading partners, for no reason in particular.
Seems targeted to specific countries, for specific reasons, to elicit specific responses to me.
Much the way it's been done for a thousand years or so across the entire planet.

But you didn't feel that way when Biden/Harris kept the Trump tariffs on China in place and spent boodles of your tax dollars on, er uhm... what's the phase?, Oh yeah - waste and fraud.
Obviously, I left of the bit about the tariffs on Mexico, as they seemed to get jiggy wid securing the border instead, under President Trump (45).

Just sounds better and better. Trump's brilliance will save us all from inflation. Damn I am glad so many of these uneducated clueless broke asses wanted this man back in office! It sure the fuck won't hurt financially fortunate folks like me, but it will definitely bite the broke asses in the ass/wallet... some of you better hope this is just a threat and that he doesn't actually follow through with this nonsense or just kiss your extra hooker money goodbye for groceries. LOL

BREAKING NEWS: Claudia Sheinbaum and Trump Agree to Stop All Immigration in Mexico: A New Era in Bilateral Relations
The recent call between Claudia Sheinbaum, President of Mexico, and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has caused a political and international stir. During their conversation, both leaders agreed to implement drastic measures to halt migration through Mexican territory and combat drug trafficking into the United States.
The Agreement
Trump stated that this dialogue would mark a significant shift in the relationship between the two countries, declaring:
«Indeed, we are closing our southern border.
Sheinbaum, for her part, committed to taking immediate actions to block migration routes heading north. This decision could redefine Mexico’s immigration policy and its role as a transit country for thousands of migrants from Central America, South America, and other regions.
In addition, the leaders discussed the need to address the issue of drug trafficking from both fronts: controlling the flow of drugs into the U.S. and reducing domestic consumption, as the U.S. remains one of the largest drug markets in the world.
Tariff Pressure and Reactions...

thru to America. ... Their new President has stated that.
See? ... The tariff threats are already working! ...
