36% said they approve of the protests, and 19% said they are not sure.

Zoom out: Historically, Americans have a history of disapproving civil rights protests and demonstrations.

Zoom in:The polling is largely along partisan lines.

58% of Democrats said they approved of the anti-ICE protests, compared to 15% of Republicans. 68% of Republicans and 12% of Democrats supported the Marine response, while 75% of Republicans and 13% of Democrats approved of the National Guard deployment.

Mike Collins was serving as acting chair of the NIC before he was dismissed alongside his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof. They each had more than 25 years of intelligence experience.

Two intelligence officers who spent the majority of their careers in the intelligence services were shown the door because they had the courage to speak truth to power.

Maybe you should call up Rep. Himes and share your superior knowledge of exactly why those two analysts were fired. Poor guy is the leading Dem on the House Intel Committee, yet he lacks your access to the real story.

You are missing the point entirely. They are getting rid of intelligence agents based upon their political beliefs and not their actual ability. A particular nasty form of DEI. When your intelligence analysts only tell you what you want to hear then you are really screwed. When Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard tells you that the Los Angeles riots are being coordinated and funded it’s more than likely extremely suspect.
