That’s because bail is a mechanism to compel the defendant to appear in court. Trump’s bail is so much higher because he has the assets to not just flee the country but to live easily abroad.
I would guess that Vance Boelter has trouble affording a Big Mac.

Then why didn't they set a very LOW bail for Trump? Give him incentive to flee the country! Instead they made him look like the persecuted victim of a weaponized judiciary, which in turn encouraged the voters to re-elect him!
Dumbfuck lefty judges always make the wrong choices!
So... if Vance Boelter sets up a gofundme account, who do think will contribute to it?
I would bet on the same LW wackos who donated over $1 million to Luigi Mangione's legal defense fund.
BAAHAHAHAHA!!

I think that it's just a shame that they had 20 swat teams after this guy and nobody killed him when they found him. I guess that coward didn't want to go out in a blaze of glory and instead wants the taxpayers to waste money prosecuting his crazy ass.
It doesn't really matter that the clown hates democrats. If he was a dem, his crazy ass would have had a list of republicans to go after. Bottom line is that crazy miserable malcontent was going to find a way to take his misery out on someone regardless of his political affiliation.

I think that it's a shame he didn't kill himself before the SWAT team got to him. Use his own bullet, not one of theirs. Coward.

For years this guy seemed to be a rather benign human being.
I would at least like to know what caused him to loose it to the existent of committing murder.

He was very pro life, and probably equated abortion with murder. From that point of view, he thought it made sense for him to kill people who were responsible for the carnage. I think his reasoning made more sense than Mangione's.
I'm pro-choice, within reason, btw. Many years ago, the protestors at a Planned Parenthood clinic heckled me when when I went in for an STD test. They thought I was an abortionist, and told me that Jesus loves me, which I believe to be true. What I'm getting at, Boelter probably thought God was on his side.

Murderer, Trump voter, Christian fanatic. No surprise at all.
AS we have seen with other terrorists, one of the big dangers of religion is when some asshole thinks he is working for god. Like a lot of the 911 terrorists were professionals, and earned decent money... but they were on a bigger mission.. .for allah.
Same with the Jan 6th traitors...democracy hating, America hating christian fascists, nearly every one. Religion grooms weak minds into accepting hierarchy, authority (but only theirs), conformity, obedience, xenophobia, loyalty to ingroups and hostility towards outgroups. Conservatism and religion are flip sides of the same coin, hence the strong affinity between the two. Both are manifestations of primitive tribalism, with a common root in fear. In other words. MAGA Fucktard.

It wouldn’t be surprising if he was put up to it by Roger Stone or Steve Bannon...at least stochastically

^^^ Good grief! Let's start baiting & trolling by making the fatuous, inflammatory claim that the J6 protestors were the moral equivalent of the 9/11 terrorists.
Word of advice - start a new thread if you want to veer wildly off topic with this nonsense. Don't hijack this one. Biomed already issued a warning in post #63.

... No, I'm glad they didn't kill him - yet.
More investigation into him and what he sayes as-to WHY
he did what he did may shed better light on things.
Surely seem to be some-sort of mercenary for hire.
Let's see what the investigation reveals.

I just would not leave him in his cell, with security cameras turned off, and the guards on a snack break.

Thank you for your thoughts, as unhelpful as they are. My link and pointer was to the subject in question. I added some additional commentary regarding how he matches up to the christo-fascist movement and how we will probably see more of it, from these "patriotic" pieces of shit.

Are you fucking kidding? Jeezis Christ.
I can tell you what the investigation will reveal: that he is insane.
And he probably wasn't helped by people that like to... promote weird-ass conspiracy theories that have NO basis in fact whatsoever.
