The paranoia is real and it’s prevalent within the ranks of those who believe that illegal immigrants are voting in large numbers.
Those who oppose requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration don’t want to make voting any harder than it needs to be. I don’t have a problem with voter ID as long as getting valid voter registration is simple and easy to get.
Until voter identification advocates can prove that large numbers of non citizens are voting I’ll have to oppose the requirement for proof of citizenship as it puts an unfair burden to voting for many citizens.
P.S. Trump’s Executive Order is categorically unconstitutional.
