I'm writing a book about my experience being kept and the path that brought me here.

It also gives me a place to discuss the parts of my life I can't usually discuss, with like minded individuals.

My life agenda, is the decriminalization of prostitution...

Fair enough.....but in all honesty, how is being "kept" any different from being an escort?.....whether you get paid for one hour or one year......... other than the time difference or frequency, it's pretty much the same.

That's actually my opinion. That many women are in similar situations, and the only difference is opinion and geography. However, I'm at an advantage because I have no risk of being arrested. Lower risk of being harmed. And I, frankly, get a lot more $. I'd like to level the playing field for all women.

Additionally, I can tell people that I have a very very generous benefactor and the reaction is much different than telling someone I advertise to sell sex on the Internet. I don't think it should. That general attitude is what I am fighting. That women from all backgrounds do and should be able to make a profit from their sexuality.

I'm the one who puts myself in the same "whore" category. Other people are the ones who want to argue that it's different. That said, I'm not a "provider" here per se because I'm not available to the guys her for hire. I would not take offense at all to someone classifying me as a very very low volume escort.
