Hey dumbass... Perry's proposal was rejected by the FERC. Not because it's a "subsidy" - it isn't - but because it was deemed unnecessary for electrical grid security. Your bloomberg author is openly biased against carbon fuels. The real subsidies (i.e., direct tax credits and utility mandates) have been doled out to renewables, which still contribute only a tiny fraction of our energy needs despite decades of massive government support.
