Because harmful or sometimes fatal interactions happen for pretty much all vaccines, but usually in miniscule numbers. If you know someone who's had one, I'm sure that's likely to cause apprehension. It's basically the "big bowl of skittles, but 1 is a deadly poison" argument.

But then it got exacerbated by the likes of Jenny McCarthy over vaccines causing autism, and people having a middle school education mentality about the contents of said vaccines, like Thermosol.

Test Subject? Moderna tested with 40,000 people.

99.99 survival rate on its own sounds good except for when you have a population with 330 million people like the USA.

.01 * 330,000,000 = 3,300,000 deaths.

550,000 deaths already. No where near 330,000,000 people have been infected/vaccinated. If you did not try to slow down the spread this is what would happen. This is using your survival rate number which may not be true.

There's a rather simply mathematical calculation in play. What is the current death rate FOR COVID (I am stressing COVID-19 as opposed to a stat used by health care providers to increase their revenues and by politicians to increase fear and justify their continued dictatorial policies in this country) and the percentage of those suffering adverse effects of takine ONE OF THE VACCINES.

On a more somber note: I find the phrase using "herd" to be offensive and reflective of the assholes who attempt to intimidate masses of people with their bullshit unsupported claims.
