Prostitution stings in Various Areas in DFW

For those who don’t know. The Bungalow bust made news because it was residents in the neighborhood who had been watching the short term rental in their midst, and reported odd comings and goings to PPD. Another case of concerned neighbors being the primary reason a residential brothel gets taken down.

VF, can you expand on the high-end hotel rationale. When I try to understand I come back to LE can partner with ‘high-end hotels’ too. But maybe I’m missing something.

There are a few posters who give good advice about research, reviewed providers and things to be aware of. But I feel bad for the guys who get busted (like the guy on a different thread currently) who think they have a foolproof protocol just to learn that they had a false confidence after they end up in cuffs. LE has a looong leash. A felony conviction, or even a plea to nolo contendre or lesser charge stays with you.

You've made it clear numerous times that you are in NNJ-- and don't appear to have hobbied much, if at all, in Texas.


So-- why on Earth do you think your advice applies? I'm here to tell you that it doesn't. More than one high profile bust has occurred at high end hotels in this area. In Texas-- soliciting is a FELONY-- so there is no "guarantee" because of the hotel-- not by a long shot.


Its the insistence on being so loud and so wrong/ill informed about the local area that is just.... something special.

Also AMPs are the safest because you are there to get a Massage.

You can text a provider and say, "I saw your ad and would like to see you next Wednesday at 11:00 for one hour." Screening will likely follow. But no offer or agreement to pay money for sex has been made.The only thing agreed upon is a date, time and length of appointment. Not money. Not sex.

This ain’t good logic higher end hotels are actually likely to be more willing to call the cops on you if they think it’s soliciting for a couple reasons.

1: Thet don’t want to sully their status with solicitation.
2: PR of having fought the good fight against trafficking.
3on’t need the revenue that may make a lower tier hotel turn a blind eye to suspicious activity

I haven’t heard of anyone trying to FaceTime call and they actually took the FaceTime call and looked like the person. They don’t want their real faces out there. Chances are they won’t do a FaceTime call. If you are in doubt. Look for reviews, if there isn’t any or you can’t find any. Then just automatically assume it’s police. That’s what I’ve been doing since I got caught. Look for reviews, FaceTime calls or ONLY see people that you’ve seen before.

We know how you got busted… FaceTime isn’t at all foolproof it’s almost as asinine thinking the “are you a cop” line matters
