I suspect that most of the 4500+ families who lost a loved one following the ill fated and ill advised spring of 2003 would probably agree. Attaining final confirmation from the Weapons Inspectors should have been a top priority, but it obviously was not to the Shrubbie/Darth Administration.
It was not as if "the invasion" had to occur during the spring of 2003. If WMD's were found by the Weapons Inspectors, 'the invasion' could have just as easily been delayed to the fall of 2003. Could it not?
LLIdiot, you are living proof that it is hard to teach an old, worn out dog, new tricks! Go ahead and cling to your mistaken notion that Shrubbie made a noble gesture and the even more mistakable notion that the world is now a safer place because of the actions of the "Decider-in-Chief."
Meanwhile, an overwhelming percentage of the residents of this country soon came to realize that the ill fated and ill advised spring of 2003 of Iraq was a mistake of monumental proportions. In fact, I would submit that it was the worst foreign policy mistake made by an American President since the Vietnam War. Truth be known, there is not a close 2nd!
LLIdiot, thanks for nothing!

After that six months would you have supported the invasion?

Nothing epic about it at all. In fact it reminds me of Professional Wrestling. Fake insults, fake jabs at each others character and each one boasting about their fake accomplishments. After the crowds are gone and the smoke clears they toast a drink together and make a deal. How do you think Hillary became Secretary Of state? The only thing epic is the way they can bullshit their way into our hearts and minds of dummies to get votes and get elected.

Apparently, ONLY if there had been no invasion, would he support the invasion!!!!
He supported Kerry, too, who was "for it before he was against it."
"But Kerry was a decorated war hero" ..... so was McCain, and earned his, every day.
So BigTitsLiarStalker voted for Obaminable, who wasn't even in the military.

Yes, I said at the time that if WMD's were found, an invasion would be justified.
But it became a moot point after the ill fated and ill advised, spring of 2003 invasion of Iraq.

You love saying "ill fated and ill advised" don't you. We won that war didn't we so I don't think you can say "ill fated" with a straight face. And since Congress "advises and consented" to the war, who is responsible? Those advisors?
Also, there are such things as fighting seasons because of weather (you know, climate) and other factors. Do you know how much money it takes to keep an army and navy in the field? We know that you're all about the money because you keep pointing out (incorrectly I might add) how much money was spent on the Gulf War.

As a matter of fact I do. The ill fated and ill advised, spring of 2003 invasion was the worst mistake made by an American President since the Vietnam War.

Because you like to say it ...... keep talking to yourself.
Hillary voted for the authorization.
We'll see how she handles the "hard choice" when she gets the question!

So if they had not been found you wouldn't have supported the invasion still?
How many more American lives would have been lost had Saddam been given another 6 months to a year to conscribe, train and equip a larger army? Regardless of whether we found WMDs we were eventually going in because Iraq under Saddam's control was a direct threat to the west and the US.

An invasion would have been unnecessary had Iraq coughed them up!
So, you are back to your circuitous, boot-strap argument.
No invasion for six months, and if the WMD's are NOT FOUND in six months, then no invasion until WMD's are found, then invade? For what? Because Iraq coughed up the WMD's? .... because Iraq had lied about them? .... Because?
Then according to you .... the invasion was justified .... as per NY Post:
http://nypost.com/2010/10/25/us-did-find-iraq-wmd/
and more recently...
http://www.inquisitr.com/1309825/isi...ush-was-right/
Or was that another "Obaminable" accomplishment?
Finally, no longer "ill-fated and ill advised"! Let's move on.

You have dissected and diagrammed the mental processes of BigTits ...
... he can't bet on something until there is a coin toss on which to bet!!!!!
Actually what BigTitsLiarStalker is trying to "cover" with BIG LETTERS .... IS
he wanted the Bush Administration to give the "inspectors" six ( 6) more MONTHS before beginning any "invasion" .... !
Added to the 12 prior YEARS of trying to get cooperation!
BigTitsLiarStalker would stand out in the street (on the sidelines) and insist the cops give the kidnapper/murderer SIX MORE HOURS with his favorite family member BEFORE THEY KICK THE DOOR to find and extract "his favorite family member"!!!!!
|
That's why BigKoTex: the BUTTer Bar ASShat is such an ASShat -- he always relies on his 20/20 *hindsight* to justify his POV.

Thanks Boardman!
BigTitsLiarStalkers "intellectual" onion has been peeled ....
.... and revealed for what it is and is not.
May be Reid, Pelossi, and Obaminable have it right ....
.... there are still people registered to vote who are dumb enough to vote for them again. Hillary is banking on that same dumbing-down.
