Perhaps if you're sampling from the local PTA, but that isn't the case. This particular sample (the hobby) has a disproportionate number of men who engage in deviant behavior.

I'm using deviant not as a pejorative, but in the true sense of the word, behavior that deviates from the norm. Because of that, I would not generalize about him and his risk taking behavior.

That said, innocent until proven guilty, but sociopaths come in all shapes and marital status.
