Not at all Waco. Good for you. Pretty popular I see. Keep up the good work! At this rate you’ll be a social media force in about a decade.

Can you get those 78 Twitter members to follow you to ECCIE?

I totally understand your inability to understand.

Maybe you should join the defense team.

Welcome back, btw YR.

No personal attacks, but it's undisputable fact that a convicted pedophile tried to kill him, and he was forced to defend himself.

Then when he was trying to provide aid the to guy who tried to kill him, he got chased off by an angry mob that wanted to kill him.

When they gave chase, he fell, and several people were upon him using deadly force, which he needed to use in kind to escape.

Seems pretty cut and dry. I'd have done the same thing in his case.

Now if he were in the back of a pickup truck with an AR-10, not an AR-15, a couple 100 round beta mags, and mowed the whole mob down, then there wouldn't be a trial, he'd have gotten a Presidential Medal of Freedom and August 25th would be a national holiday.

That is an undisputed truth, a convicted pedophile was after Rittenhouse. Defending that offender says what about the left? There is also the confession that the man wanted to KILL Rittenhouse and there is no reason to think that he wouldn't have unless he were stopped.

Self Defense

Yeah, the convicted criminal who pulled a gun on Kyle before he got his bicep blown off, has stated in interviews after the matter that he wishes he'd have gotten the shot off. So yeah, we have "intent to kill" right there.

The thing that cracks me up is that we have video of the guy having the gun, and he admits to having the gun, but nothing is being done about it, despite all the hysteria around background checks and making sure criminals don't have guns.

To clarify my point - the 2nd amendment doesn't specify that felons lose their right to protect themselves like the 15th amendment does, so I think disallowing felons from owning guns is unconstitutional.

However, I think it's hypocritical for anyone who cares about "following the law" in this case or wants to see stronger gun control to sweep the fact that this felon had a gun under the rug.

After reading this and a couple of other sources, it appears that Kyle's mother did not take him to Kenosha as "reported". My bad for taking Gaston's statement and not cross verifying. Apologies.

Not sure the question as to whether he was requested to guard the car lot can be answered here. From my minimal research to date, the kid who bought the gun stated that the dealership asked him to do so, and may (I have not verified) have worked there previously (remember, he was not a minor). But there was also a statement I found by a co-owner of the lot saying no one was asked to provide security (cover your ass?). The courts will have to figure it out if even relevant. Interestingly though Kyle's friend appears to have a history of psychiatric treatment and may have very recent to the event released from a facility. Afraid all above should not be taken as gospel, but left to the courts.

see what a little research does? i found this article a few days ago. i agree his statements, (son, co-owner) after the fact could be CYA given what happened. also does not mean the dad (co-owner) didn't ask them to protect that business.

https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/...ss/5705974002/

A Kenosha car dealer said Thursday he never asked a band of riflemen to guard one of his businesses the night of two fatal shootings, contesting a narrative the accused gunman's attorney told on Fox News.

Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, is charged with killing two men and wounding a third late on Aug. 25 just a couple of blocks from the epicenter of protests at the Kenosha County Courthouse over the shooting two days earlier of Jacob Blake by a police officer.

Rittenhouse, of Antioch, Illinois, almost immediately became a cause célèbre among conservatives and gun rights advocates. His new attorney, John Pierce of Los Angeles, told Fox News' Tucker Carlson that Rittenhouse acted in clear self-defense because the three victims had chased and were trying to disarm and hurt him.

n telling the story, Pierce repeated a storyline already popular in social media, that the group of rifle-toting men Rittenhouse was with that night had been asked by the owner of a damaged business to protect what he had left.

Some of the video from that night shows Rittenhouse being interviewed at an auto repair shop, where other armed men were on the roof.

But the co-owner of Car Source said Thursday he didn't hire the men, ask for their help or endorse it.

"Why would I?" Anmol Khindri said, in an interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I'm already burned out. There was nothing left to protect."

Khindri said he and his father own Car Source, and three lots along Sheridan Road, just blocks from the civic center. Arsonists burned dozens of cars at the main retail lot on Sunday night.

Kitty-corner from that lot is Car Source's repair shop, where Rittenhouse and other men with rifles were staged on the evening of Aug. 25 before the shootings, the first of which occurred at Khindri's third site, a used car lot at the corner of 63rd Street and Sheridan Road.

Khindri said his business has suffered $1.4 million in losses and damage. He doesn't understand why the Fire Department didn't try to stop the first big blaze on Sunday night.

"I used to have the safest locations in town," he said. "So close to the courthouse and police station."

He said his phone was turned off until Monday morning, Aug. 24, when he saw all the messages from neighbors of his car lot, and police and others about the fires there.

In the Fox News appearance, Pierce said that the night of the shootings, Rittenhouse and some friends were cleaning graffiti from a high school in Kenosha when they got a call from a business owner with three businesses, two of which had been burned.

The owner "wanted to protect what was left of his life's work and so he asked for help," Pierce said, and "Kyle and his friends" decided they "would answer that call and that nobody was doing anything to protect that community and they decided they would answer that call and protect that business."

Pierce also said Rittenhouse took a rifle because "Kenosha had become a war zone. Any sensible person would take that."

Pierce could not be reached Thursday.

Khindri said when he left the area Tuesday around the time of the curfew — 9 p.m. that night — he did not authorize people to be on his roof or remember seeing gunmen there.

He said he's also spoken with detectives about that evening.

Khindri said he doesn't follow politics and never held a gun in his life. He and his father had been planning to expand their car business, he said, but now he's "broke to the bone" and nearly half his employees' families want to leave Kenosha.

"They say they don't feel safe," he said.

There may be something to convict him of but if there is any justice left in this country, I submit there is not, the verdict should be justifiable hmoicide. I suspect it will not because the jury will be to cowardly to bring back a not guilty verdict to appease the mob.

And I don't see the relevance of being asked to be there or not. His actions regardless are what is on trial.

there is another case virtually identical to this. happened somewhere else. have to go find it. there is video showing the same situation, these Antifa thugs assaulted a guy who then used a gun to defend himself. the thug had a gun. of course the media made the victim out to be some radical then dropped the story when video showed it to be clear the thug was armed.

i'll find that story and post it. right now i need to go on my daily supply run to survive the Great Scamdemic

Using reverse "logic" here.

If you resist arrest, even unarmed, you deserve to be held accountable, even death. Shouldn't have done that, so it's on you.

If you willingly break curfew to attend a riot scene while armed (oh, you happen to be a minor in illegal possession of said gun) and engage others instead of rendering first aid per original intent, you should not be held accountable, even though you should not have done that? In fact, you're a hero?
