Two things: first this thread is not about infrastructure. It is about a conspiracy to collapse a bridge. But like every thread in this forum it turns into "Trump is an asshole" and "Biden sucks." We get it already dems fear Trump and Reps are disgusted by Buden's incompetence. We read it in every thread.
Second: i find it sort.of ironic a left leaning poster demands answers to his question and does not get one. When no one ever responds to any of mine in any thread. But then again my posts are full of well known facts and kind of hard to argue opposite views. No one can argue that our current President does not suck, well because I can list a plethora of reasons to back my statement and even all Dems know it.
Back to the topic. If it was a conspiracy it was liberals that did it, they have the only motive. But to give any Dems credit at least they picked a bridge that would cause little collateral damage, no deaths and at a time prior to heavy traffic. Looking more like a conspiracy. Without deaths, without major damage to property, without major harm (all injured people were never in critical condition), and without multiple bridges collapsing means only one thing. No investigation. To the consporatisits I say "good job." Well thought out plan and execution. But I also say, how dare you put fellow Americans in harm's way to attempt to get favor for your side! Still money on no investigation.

Always good to see a different opinion and point of view
Facts:
The Trump administration did not pass an infrastructure bill.
The Biden administration passed an infrastructure bill.

You say that like the bills were even remotely similar. They weren’t. It’d be more accurate to that say biden raised a bunch of taxes and Trump didn’t.

Who really cares?? Why are talking about Trump? If Infrastructure is what is needed lets do it!
Facts:
Trump had the USA energy independent
Biden has us begging OPEC
Again who cares?? If energy costs are a problem lets do something to fix it now!
Stop fighting so hard to be right and start fighting to do good instead no matter who is right or wrong. Who fucking cares!? In these arguments people lose all sense of goodness and seem concentrate only on being right, such a shame. Because there is good on both sides of the aisle.

Speaker #94 has a good perspective. It is the rabid Trumpites that have the most evil and feel they have to put up a defense anytime there is a discussion. Why do they have to run around and have a rally practically every month ?
If the country could get back to healthy debates between Republicans and Democrats, it would be much better.
Hopefully neither Trump nor Biden will be a candidate in the 2024 election.

Great Post! Your 1000% correct. Problem is you have to recognize/admit to a problem before you can solve it.
Your energy example is good
People post on here about how great the “market” is. Maybe if your 40, have some disposable income to pick up some stocks cheap
.
Maybe not so great if your older, retired and just lost significant money in your 401K
.
Recognize there’s a problem instead of trying to ignore it

Damn. You're right. Mea Culpa. Should have never posted a thing in this thread. Except I was puzzled by oonnnneeee comment......

I hear you on that fair exchange of information (like the last two initials of this websites name.) I ask for a source for what someone is posting they get their panties in a wad. Than think hurling insults will suffice for where got their info. And when you really get the final layer of the onion with Occams Razor, they shut up and won't admit they are wrong. *I* have no problem changing my viewpoint if someone can present facts that show i'm not seeing the bigger picture or am blinded by my limited knowledge of a subject.
|
From what *I* see, seems the problem we have today is that no one wants to be accountable for their actions. Hence, they feel they can put anything out there without fear of retribution.
There is a problem with that.

I'm pretty sure that the trumpy cartel and his gop minions were going to pass a bill to have that bridge repaired as soon as Mexico paid for that wall. They did pass a big tax cut for the rich though and then just got more stupid. They forgot how to spell infrastructure improvements. They could play golf and support trumpy properties at tax payers expense though lol n omg n wtf:roflmao
Yes I do say so dah

Logically, then Trump
While we were energy independent and a net exporter, gas was around $1.50 in civilized areas of the country. Fast forward 12 months under a new regime with an inept, geriatric despot and it has doubled to $3.00. And yes, I care about that. Not in and of itself, but because that trend is also reflected in our groceries, heating/cooling costs etc. If you can't see the right and wrong in the gas equation, maybe glasses might help

Factoring nothing but fuel, biden’s hostility towards the energy industry costs me about the same as an hour with a high quality provider per month.
