Well it may very well be that The Trump-Kennedy Center does not really need repair or referbishing.

I am thinking that President Trump intends to make "permanent" or otherwise enduring mods that will, in future years, bring his presidency to mind whenever the left leaning media reports from there.

It may always be called just The Kennedy Center, but the changes to the building will always be referred to as Trump's.

It has long been my perception that most , or many, artists don't deserve even a damn. I hold some in great respect. mostly those who chose to move out of the Hollywood scene.The late Robert Redford was one.

Now, I have dabbled in the art world as an artist; created and sold some work. Was selected as an artist-in-residence to a national park one summer even . . . . and that set of experiences cemented my view of much or the artist community. Turns out, I am not one of them, not an "artist" (with a flourish). Not by temperament or attitude or political orientation.
