We don’t live in China or Russia. Our leaders are required by law to request permission before an extended military operation can be conducted. Period.
Glad to hear the US can protect its borders.

I assume you will agree that intelligence suggesting a narco boat headed for the US is a threat to the American people. These same narco boats are not Venezuelan sponsored but have private owners, the cartel.

The Maduro operation, or whatever you want to call it is not the same as the narco boats.

The world is a better place today than it was prior to the above. Biden and his staff of interns certainly didn’t have the stones to deal with either despite what his tough tweets would lead the gullible to believe.

Must be exhausting by the left to defend Maduro and narco boats while the American people are safer, the Venezuelan people celebrate, and the globe is better off.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCE?

Trump doesn't!

On Truth Social, Trump just posted a screenshot of a KAGdrogo tweet questioning the timing of Maduro's arrest and Trump's posts about Dominion voting machine fraud.

He posted the screenshot as a quote post with the Dominion machine fraud video.

The arrest of Maduro is more than meets the eye, and Trump confirms it!

G.M. Your reasoning is quite flawed. The president has stated that these supposed narco boats were of Venezuelan origin and controlled by Maduro.

President Donald Trump has made claims that the Venezuelan government, under Nicolás Maduro, is involved in drug trafficking. He has characterized the Venezuelan regime as a significant player in the drug trade, particularly in relation to fentanyl and cocaine. Trump stated that the U.S. military operations targeting drug boats are part of a broader strategy to combat drug trafficking organizations.

It stands to reason that the removal of Nicolas Maduro is just another part of the same pattern.

Again nobody here is defending Nicolas Maduro or narco boats. We’re just pointing out that Trump and his administration is breaking both norms and rules and laws. MAGA turds may be OK with the dictatorial actions of the Trump regime but hundreds of millions of people in the US are not.

your claims are wrong. you keep citing the war powers act which doesn't apply here we didn't go to war with Venezuela so your 60 days claim is meaningless. and how do you explain other presidents using US military without prior congressional approval?

like these guys did?

was that illegal or just because it's Trump doing it?

You should read your own quote again, but very slowly this time.

The narco boats were primarily operated—and thus effectively owned or controlled—by transnational criminal organizations, most frequently the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (designated by the U.S. as a foreign terrorist organization), as well as groups like Colombia's National Liberation Army (ELN) in some cases.

The Trump administration consistently described these vessels as operated by "narcoterrorists" or designated terrorist organizations, with intelligence confirming ties to these groups. For instance:The first strike (September 2025) explicitly targeted a boat said to be run by Tren de Aragua members.

Subsequent announcements referred to vessels "operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations" transiting known trafficking routes, often with recovered drugs (e.g., 1,000 kg of cocaine in one joint U.S.-Dominican operation) supporting the claims in isolated cases.

No public evidence has been released showing direct ownership or sponsorship by the Venezuelan government (e.g., state-owned or military-operated boats).

Why were Clinton’s and Obama’s actions ok?

We know why. You guys are the party of hypocrisy, it’s like a walking oxymoron.
