Starting from the time I was stationed in New London, I had a CCW in CT, VA, FL, and LA. Prior to that I was on my ship's self defense force and trained on the M-60, M-14, Shotgun, and .45. Before that in the army it was the M-16 and .45. I owned a AR-15, Berreta 9 mm, .45, shotgun, Garand, and an AK. I was, and am, proficient but was unable to carry on base.

Odd thing in those photos. That destroyer is an Adams class destroyer (I spent four years on one) but the hull number can't be 933. That is the hull number of the USS Barry which is off the coast of Syria right now. There is an outside change that it is a Coontz (they took an Adams, cut it in two, and added about 45 more feet in the center) but the radar suite doesn't make me think so. I wonder what is going on there?
