Guys, I was captured and tortured by the pussy mafia. Under duress, they made me pledge my undying allegiance to the mafia Donna. They made me pay a tribute to them before they released me.
I am skipping town out of fear of reprisal for this post. All I can say is be careful, and don't let yourself be captured in their nefarious web. They are very wiley and dangerous. I heard that they have ties to other syndicates in New York and Vegas.

It really seems to bother some of you guys what I do/charge. But, you aren't/weren't going to see me anyway, so why do ya'll care so much? As to me, I do like to have fun with the word play. Its just fun. But, to be condescended to because some guys refuse to pay a rediculous (in our opinion) rate for a few minutes of pleasure gets you what you ask for.
I personally have no ill feelings towards you or Claire and am glad you particioate in this forum. However I must agree with Cinnamon Shark that hurt feelings are to be expected when you berate the general population of your customer base.
My thoughts are there are guys who are so desperate that they will pay ANY rate...and either guys who have tons of expendable imcome. That sounds like your targeted fan base.
Others...like myself...budget our hobby funds not because we are neccesarily poor...but because we realize that paying prodigious amounts rarely equates to a better experience. In my case, just me, MOST of my best in hobby times have been with ladies who are NOT all about the Benjamin's and truly enjoy our time together.

I learned that when you put yourself out there (on Eccie or in RW), you are being targeted (some good, some bad, some ugly, and some real down nasty).
If you can't deal with it, don't put yourself out there, and try to find another way to run and advertised your business.
I, for one, am more likely to spend more on someone who seems less focused on the tab than forming a friendly business relationship. For example, back in the Fall on an hour double with my ATF and another wonderful lady, we lost track of time and went 30 minutes over without any of us realizing it. They said nothing, so the next time I saw my ATF I brought an extra tip which she split with the other lady. I enjoy taking gifts to gracious ladies from chocolates to designer perfumes. But if I want to play the slots, I'll go to Vegas (of course the slots are rigged and give me a poker or blackjack table any day, but I digress).
I harbor no illusions that's it's anything more than business, nor would I want it to be. If I was interested in making a deeper connection, I'd date civvies. But that doesn't mean I don't want a cordial business relationship. Once in a blue moon I form a casual friendship that outlast the professional one. Occasionally, if I think someone's interesting and we have a lot to talk about, I may invite them to hang out. Very rarely they've invited me. Sometimes they're interested and sometimes they're not. I don't take it personally and I don't read anything into it. C'est la vie.
The one thing I've recently decided is paramount is to be as clear about the donation with someone new as possible. Before I leave, I now make sure we're on the same page. This might make some people uncomfortable, but I've learned the hard way it's a hell of a lot less uncomfortable than learning later on second hand or in public that you weren't on the same page. On the rare occasion that the lady asks in the ad or profile for no donation talk, I make sure to check expectations during TCB. If there's no time she's comfortable confirming her rates, we're not right for each other and I move on.
Only once have I disclosed what's in the envelope and what time it's for and had the lady say nothing at the time but voice dissatisfaction later on. Since it's happened only once in over a decade, I chalk it up to a clusterfuck of a misunderstanding. After all, if someone knew it wasn't enough, surely she would say so when you were both standing right there.
