And yes, the defense was good! Constantly being on the field because of a joke of an offense, yet they only gave up 1 TD and a field goal while scoring 14 of our points?
Yea….I call that good.

I love our depth on D! Time to get 29 out of there though and put in Joey P Jr. permanently. At least he’s competitive!!

Barely a win, but the streak had to continue on Monday night, fix was in.

Not saying he didn't play badly but there is more to it than
Just saying he sucked
Agreed, for the most part. But we're 14 games into Kenny's career as a starter now. It's may be too early to write him off, but not too early to critique him. And right now, he sucks. I give him a D+

By the way, Trubisky was given exactly 4 starts last year before everyone wrote him off. Kenny's had 10 more than Mitch was given, at this point.

Lots of star QB’s are having rough starts so far.

When Ben was drafted the Steeler team as a whole was way better and way better coached.
It appears Tomlin has terrible coaches. Noll and Cower had better coordinators.

That was the shittiest offensive performance I’ve seen in a long time. I don’t blame Kenny, it’s pretty hard to throw a pass with a couple 300 pound linemen hanging off your back.

That injury tho. Holy fuck. I think Chubb’s career in the NFL is over. Hate to see that happen to any player who’s name isn’t Burfict.

That injury was brutal! And I thought our fans were pretty classy with their “Chubb, Chubb, Chubb” chant and applause as he was carted off.
What was classLESS was their shitty ass coach being asked if Mincahs hit was a dirty hit??
Honestly I thought it was a stupid question that Stephanski would right away clear up. Instead his response was “no comment”.
Bullshit!! Lost respect for that coach.

Chizzy summed up my thoughts on the Browns game. O-line needs to gel, and so its job or we'll see more of this.

Tomlin might want to figure out how to stop the running game. Giving up 200 rushing yards a game is a losing recipe. It’s two games in a row.

Got the win. Will give Canada a little props for a better game. Would still like to see more Jaylen Warren. I just don’t think Najee is good enough to get more then 50% of the snaps over Jaylen.
NFL parity is a brilliant thing. We’re not that great, but tied for 1st in our division. Hopefully Kenny uses this game as a starting point!

... Agree with Charley on Warren... Why not let HIM be the plough-horse?

A decent win - and a chance to grab another with Houston.

Didn’t hurt that Marcus Peters dropped an easy pick six. But refs evened things out by calling Minkah for a BS roughing the QB penalty. If Jimmy G doesn’t turtle up after the hit it doesn’t get called.
39 has to be wondering where the hell he’s supposed to hit people.

WTF was that bullshit at the end of the first? 47 seconds on the clock with timeouts remaining and they sit on it instead of trying to move into Boswell’s range to try for a quick FG. That guy can put them in from 55 yards all day and they only needed a couple firsts to get there. That’s some seriously retarded coaching.

Percy Harvin should have got a game ball. He looked like an actual NFL punter last night.

Punter was indeed very impressive, although he did botch one pretty bad. One kick in particular couldn’t have been more perfect, 65 yards or so and a 5 second hang time landing perfectly in the corner. Hope the bad one was a fluke.

... Interesting thought by Mark Madden today...
About the Officials there down the stretch trying to
keep the game close - so to speak- 'cause of the points spread.
... "Leverege!" ... Really?

One o' the mates, maybe Paintedbynumbers, actually raised
the point in the other thread.

... I'd surely hate to think that the Officials who oversee
the football matches might just throw flags" in ANY attempt
to influence the score. ... ... Just sayin' ...
