Worst game of Skenes career. Gave up back 2 back 2 back home runs. 4 walks were as many as he gave up this season combined. He rarely gets any run support anyways.

Well, this is an unmitigated disaster. 6yrs into a rebuild and they’re just as bad when they started it. Good pitching, but how in the hell can you go 6yrs without producing 1 major league bat with top ten picks? Of course this is on Nutting, he let Cherrington totally fuck this up. At least Huntington gave us 3yrs of good baseball with the same spending. But that’s Pittsburgh ownership. They’re loath to change. The Pens finally parted ways with Sullivan. The Pirates and Steelers owners are lazy. No accountability.

Because of recent knee surgery which requires me to be sedentary for awhile I was looking forward to watching the pirates during my healing process. Well this team has been so fkn god awful it’s been double the torture. Shelton and Cherrington both know they’re toast. The players know it. Looks like Henry Davis is a bust. Gorski triples as I type this. It’s an embarrassment what this team and organization has became. Gorski out at home. Can’t even score from 3rd.

The Padres came to town ready to play. This difference between the two teams is stark. The Padres played hard, sound baseball. The Pirates were lethargic and soppy. Nutting has no choice but to fire the entire regime. Cherrington can wipe his ass with his analytics. He’s an abject failure. 6yrs of top ten picks and not one capable position player. Shelton doesn’t keep the players accountable. Fundamental mistakes happen every game. Player development is nonexistent. Nutting has turned the Pirates into a national embarrassment. Who would want to come here and right this ship?
