I cannot believe peope are still so captivated by the feeding frenzy that is bustedamy and all the sorted mess and drama that accompanies it err... her. I thought you guys knew the best way to extinguish problem behavior is to ignore it. If you guys didn't feed the beast she would have moved on to different sources of drama and entertainment a very long time ago. This board gives her life. Idk if you guys like to watch these train wrecks or if you're secretly carrying a torch for her... I do have to say amy running off cassandra is pretty serendipitious. I like the post, but that's not how people work.

As human beings, we don't want bland, normal, same ol' same ol' day after day. Sometimes we convince ourselves we do. But we're always fascinated by the extreme, the drama, the laughing, the tragedy.

Some people get hooked on it more than others. BustedAmy is obviously one of those types. There are kids who like using the building blocks to build something. Then there are the kids who love crashing it down. BustedAmy is one of the latter.

I've never seen a message board, regardless of the subject matter it covered, where the community was capable of ignoring drama addicts. This one is no different. And it's not just the guys. As you mention, she constantly draws in fellow providers, too. It's a human nature thing. We can't help ourselves. Maybe as individuals we can, but not as a collective. Not without some kind of external party doing it for us.

But, of course, we as individuals can choose not to participate.

I will say, though, that I have gotten a kick out of watching for the next inevitable BustedAmy train wreck to come along. And another one is coming. There's no doubt about that. She's gone temporarily, but she'll be back. She can't help herself. The community won't be able to help it, either. Anyone who extends trust to her --- provider or client --- is going to get what they deserve for doing so.

It's not the drama that gets me. It's people who see the invitation to her pity party, and decide they're going to bring her a cake to make her feel better. Bwahahahaha! That is NEVER going to end well.
