Probably the same people who actually believe we'll be getting "$2000 tariff rebate checks".

Tariffman plans new tariffs on Indian rice imports

https://www.thehindu.com/news/intern...le70374710.ece

https://m.economictimes.com/news/eco.../125865794.cms

I rarely buy basmati rice. Not my or many other Americans' first choice.

I see this as performative rather than sound strategy and further proof that Tariffman is not serious about affordability, just short-term transactional spectacle. Rice was already not part of the ag tariff reductions and we already have an interesting dynamic in the rice grains we import from them vs export to them. This is not one of those smart strategic targets.

Anyone who loves Indian food (me, for example) can expect to pay extra for rice now. Thanks, tariffman. You're so big and so strong.

The daddy issues among the MAGA base are truly hilarious. Do you have this poster on your bedroom wall or something? Or maybe your ceiling?

I guess you're not concerned about the price of everything going up for absolutely no reason either, then? Unnecessary tariffs are awesome, right?

Lol. Hey "daddy" - why are you so easy to troll? Try not being serious all the time. You'll be happier... and maybe even get laid more often.

Huh? That wasn't a troll. I was legitimately laughing at MAGA's hilarious mischaracterization of their cult leader. Here on planet earth, trump is a doddering 80 year old in rapidly declining health who can barely walk a flight of steps.

Now, are you going to address my topical questions regarding his completely unnecessary and idiotic tariffs raising the prices of everything across the board? I guess you're cool with paying more for everything now than you did just a year ago?

If you say so lol... or is it possible you have 47 confused with 46?

I've been looking hard but I can't seem to find any spike in "across the board" inflation.

In fact, the annual rate is exactly the same as it was when trump took office, according to the most recent available BLS data.

12-month CPI increase:

January 2025 - 3.0%
September 2025* - 3.0%

But keep on telling everyone the sky is falling, Chicken Little!

* (Consumer price statistics for Oct. and Nov. 2025 have been delayed by the damaging, irresponsible 43-day shutdown of the federal government imposed by Chucky Schumer and his fellow scumbag Democrats.)

You know, as well as I do, that inflation is a lagging indicator and doesn't mirror the cost of everyday goods in real time. But, make no mistake about it... the prices of nearly everything keep going up under donnie dumbass... and that inflation will be coming.

This, from AI:

Yes,grocery prices are continuing to rise, with no relief expected soon. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) reported that food prices were3.2% higher in August 2025compared to the same month last year

A simmering cost-of-living crisis pushed the Trump administration to announce rollbacks in November on a number of food-related tariffs.

For the first time since President Donald Trump rolled out his sweeping global tariff program in April, month-over-month customs receipts declined in November.
Let's remember that if he rolled out his tariffs from April we would have seem prices soar even more than they have.

In what world is more expensive coffee MAGA?
