Gun homicide rates as a percentage of the population worldwide.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/co...ths-by-country

The U.S. is in the top ten at number 6.

The countries with more are all in central and south america and the caribbean.

Gun Homicide Rate In 2023 (per 100k)
1: Jamaica 42
2: Ecuador 39.5
3: Honduras 23.1
4: Belize 22.6
5: Mexico 17.2
6: United States 4.42
7: Albania 0.89
8: Bosnia and Herzegovina 0.72 23
9: Serbia 0.38
10: Greece 0.33

Over 250,000 people died from firearms in 2019, with the majority of deaths being homicides, especially in countries like Brazil and the United States.

Latin America experiences high gun violence due to factors like gang activity and drug trafficking, with countries like Venezuela and El Salvador having high homicide rates.

Countries like Japan, the UK, and Australia, with strict gun control laws, have significantly lower rates of gun deaths.

Take out suicides and I would bet that most of the US's are also a result of gang activity and drug trafficking.

One thing to add with those stats. USA has influence on the rate in Centeral/South America that we don't own up to. Our policies there in the past really fucked up things there and surely has an affect on those numbers to this day.
