All that good looking bacon/cheese - and I had to sit through a 2 hr class last Friday telling me I can't eat ANY of this stuff again. Might as well tell me I can't Hobby again (wait, not yet!).....

The Lord's Kitchen burger is pretty good, better than Chester's in my opinion.

The club house out at Rebecca Creek golf course has a good burger and cold beer, so its a favorite.

I kind of burned out on Whataburger, I prefer Burger King, even though I still carry scares from cleaning the broiler back in high school.

I do like Dairy Queen burger when traveling or on a Friday night in Blanco.

Ain't that some shit! Why are the 20 fattest cities all seem to be in southern states and Texas? Things that make you go hmmmmm. With as hot as it is normally in the south, you think people would be sweating the cheese out of their fat asses.

Shake shack was way over priced. Not bad food, but a bacon burger, fries and a small drink ran 16 bucks. Fuddruckers and Chesters would be better at that price point, and more food. Also any other local place like Josephine Street (the el rey my favorite burger in SA) , Brodaway 5050, or wherever would be much better. Surprisingly enough, Texas Roadhouse has an excellent burger.

Never liked in and out either. Was average at best.

A friend of mine wants to "treat" me this weekend to Shake Shack,...with all the reviews, I'm gonna try to talk her in to going to Burger Boy instead!

It seems there’s never too many burger places in SA. A guy from NY even expressed pleasure over the number of burger choices here.

I got the Smokeshack burger. It was good, the bacon crispy rather than chewy. And I like that the buns are not oversized like some “gourmet” burgers like to do.
That being said, the burger was really small. Almost like a kid burger.

I got a chocolate malt, which was decent. No fries. Bill came to $13. There are 3 or 4 tap beers available.

If there’s a line, you will be standing outside in the Texas heat. Poor design there. You order up front, then get a pager to buzz you to come pick it up. I don’t believe there were refill-yourself beverages.

There’s a foosball table on the patio. Also a ping pong table, but not enough space for adults to play a competitive game. Inside are 3 or 4 televisions with sports.

Probably won’t go back, but if someone chose it for me to meet them there, I’d be OK with it.

Yeah, i think their big sell is all about natural no-growth-hormone beef so you will be paying a premium. Local/organic/natural food seems to be all the rage now. LOVE the story though; guy starts out with a hot-dog cart in new york and now is world-wide. America at it's best!

i went to check it out, more hype than substance, way over priced for the amount and quality you get. burger, fries, drink, and shake 20 bucks. no combos offered, must buy each item separately.

Well, I tried the Shake Shack in Park North yesterday (10/6) and I have to say it was pretty good. I just love crinkle-cut fries. I always have and theirs are good. Yes, they are pricey so I will not be frequenting them like I do Chester's or Whataburger but I will be going back once in a while.
