Hmmmm...I'm sure some recall I had plans to retire last year...
Instead ended an on again/off again relationship with someone I was very involved with from the Hobby for years and discovered that out-of-state tuition is MUCH more expensive than I anticipated. Not sure what I was thinking...
So here I am
Not going anywhere anytime soon.
Hobbying is an outlet for me for too many reasons to list but satisfies me for the time being.

That would be the ONLY reason.

I've met some wonderful men along my journey in the Hobby, some of whom I am very good friends with outside the lifestyle in my personal life. (my choice)
I've dated a few civilians but no one whom I was interested in spending a future with thus far.
I am not interested nor am I looking for it but that is usually when it comes out of no where...

Maybe someday there will be a MR.BERK

Well Marrriage is basically a SD/SB relationship with additional commitments and obligations that require a set of lawyers to dissolve.

A man is still a man, married or not. Although many men do not; think about the hobbyists that are married and still hobby—with you.

Can you stay at home and be a "Soccer Mom" without some side action when the kids are at school? Maybe you have a real-world career. Does he know that you are/were a Provider?

This topic comes up here on ECCIE pretty often. Apparently marriage can be made to work in the context of either active or "retired" Providing, vut it can be complex and fragile.

heard a good podcast today about this subject. in the hobbyist/provider relationship:

women are getting MONEY which is what they want
men are getting PLEASURE which is what they want

no different then a person who cleans toilets for a living vs. a person who cleans cocks. they both may not enjoy doing it but they need the money.

i would think as long as a provider needs the money she will do it.. otherwise she can just go to a singles bar and easily get laid.

Hmmm? If I found the right guy and things were going in the direction of together through thick n thin, then it would be super easy to walk away from the hobby. I've only been here a few years anyway, so it isn't a lifestyle for me. It's extra income and fun in between RW relationships. A two birds, one stone thing.
