Default came across this and was wondering....

does this pertain to the all states in the united states or just florida?
(seeing how I found it in the Ocala fla post)

The Court's ruling applies to all U.S. states and territories. With a few exceptions, LE must obtain a warrant before gaining "unrestricted access to a wireless carrier’s database."

My guess is they won't have "unrestricted access" even if they get a warrant.

BTW, did the court rule also that cops just can't demand that you unlock your phone for them? That they have to get a warrant if they want to search it?
