Glad we have healthy discussions on fees. (Ok that sounded a little gay) Newbies have no clue what to pay and what you get. And thanks to some of you mongers who PM'd me after a review with insight. (after my reviews a few years ago). I have paid much less for a BBBJ from a provider and seen someone pay double for a CBJ from the same provider. Would always PM them with a polite heads up.
That said...
We also pay up sometimes for acts not on the menu.... good communication (especially if you are slinking around on your SO--which I don't have), safety, a clean hotel room, a provider who shows zero demons and actually can afford dental work. And can throw in a massage or a referral to her girlfriend who flies UTR and fucks a bit on the side.
Certifiably bat shit providers are too stressful for this grumpy guy. Cost is only an issue in the absence of value. Paying up (and being careful not to reset the market) is fine with me.

At the risk of sounding too nerdy...The donations ladies quote or charge and what guys ask for or end up donating is pretty complex economic puzzle. It not as simple as supply and demand. From either parties' point of view it not an efficient market. Lack of transparency, occasional lack of
rationality and reasonableness on part of both parties, lack of honesty, complex .motivations, etc make for inefficient and sometimes "unfair" donations again from either party. Okay, enough geekiness from me for now....

Agreed. It is complex. Sometimes it is a struggle to think strait with a hard on. A first time encounter I paid $$$. Within 10 minutes a post from monger saying they have seen the lady every month for 3 years and only pay $$. And I got shafted by provider. 36 dates vs my 1 date. Of course a discount to her regular. Risk higher for both parties on first encounter.
Tomb...you could probably plot encounters on a risk vs reward (or risk/repeat ) axis to the point where you could plot encounters on a scatterplot. Depending on which quadrant they fall decide whether to see them again. All to expand your geekiness.

I wish that had only happened to me once. You're fortunate. And then there are the times where someone you've known and trusted for a period of time takes advantage of that trust to your detriment.

Occasionally, those occurrences get offset by a random act of provider generosity, but of course, you can never count on those occurrences.

Personally, I think if a person focuses too closely on the monetary aspect of the transaction, it works to the overall detriment of the encounter. Hell, in the end, we're all losing money doing this.

Usually you get tarred & feathered if you admit to paying $350.01 as a rate and get called a sucker simp retard.
I agree that rates are 1) out of control 2) completely subjective 3) wild west of a market. That said, I have never shied away from paying top dollar for premium service. It exists, but you have to get lucky to find it, I'm afraid.

I don't know if it was a mistake or what, but I always reserved 90 - 120 minutes even though I wasn't going to be doing multiple shots or banging away in a marathon. The rationale was the last thing I wanted was some clock watcher trying to get in and get out. If the rate was 350, i was going to pay 400. I wasn't going to quibble over rates. In retrospect, it made no difference at all with 90% of the providers. The ones that do notice/appreciate it ...those are the ones to keep

I agree, 100%. The local talent is so talentless these days, that Hobby's point a while back about spending a little more in order to get a lot more rings truer every day.

He had some insights about how to select some of the classier visiting talent, and I wish I'd paid more attention at the time.

Some guys will say that if you turn them all upside down, they all look the same, but with the local providers nowadays, I'd probably just leave them that way and take my leave.

Of the rates 350 WHY pay 400? Shes not gonna say ohhh ill give you extra time etc. They want you gone so if the next guys lucky enough she will shower etc. Rstes can be pretty simple with some lesser providers , rates 200 just say ive got this much and see how they react. And yes some gents do get prorated rates but then some don't when they raise it. Do as much homework as possible , becareful where you do incall and always check all rooms before laying out any donations. Also bring what you dont mind losing if things go south. Stay safe gents

That's a pretty cynical view, IMHO, and I don't think anyone actually does that, not that I am aware of. Sometimes, a tip can turn the trick, as they say, depends on the lady.

i do this....and it isn't because I'm looking for something in return. Its because of how I was raised, I suppose...Its the principle of the matter, kind of like tipping at a restaurant. You don't HAVE to. It doesn't change the service you received.

I'm a lover of the arts...I go see live music whenever I can. I give out of the vibrancy of the craft. Sure they have a tip jar where they perform. It doesn't mean you can only give them $1. I could pay $1500 for a 2 hr TayTay concert where I'm confined to my arena seat, watching lip synched dancing on a big screen TV....if I'm enjoying 4 hours of live music being played 10 feet in front of me in a bar where everyone is having a good time, I'd say $20 in the bucket is a bargain. It isn't about COST, its about the level of VALUE I'm receiving. If its 2 in the morning, Im evacuating a hurricane, there's no gas stations for another 2 hours....damn right a gallon of gasoline has a VALUE of $5/gallon and I'd be willing to pay it


It speaks to a larger issue, though, that we've ALL been reduced to commodities in EVERY area of society. Everyone is in a mad race to swindle the next and if you paid $0.01 over mark-up you've "been had". Even our personal relationships are like this where we treat every interaction like a transaction ("i'll do this for you ONLY if you're going to give me....").

I once had a provider that was phenomenal at cock worship. I asked her if she could show another "friend" of mine what she does. Her response was so poignant, "I can show her ...but she either WANTS to suck dick or she doesn't." and thats what it all boils down to. It doesn't matter what you pay, they either want to play a masterpiece or they're just clocking in and showing up.

What I SHOULD do is have the rate in the envelope they pick up. Then have an extra envelope as a tip they can get AFTER. I think I've tried this a few times before, but its an awkward exchange (one that I'm sure they don't mind having), but I like to make it as respectful as possible where we never have to mention "it"

No you shouldn't!!! Tipping a bartender or server really isn't the same as a provider. They aren't gonna extend your time or services without upcharge. They have a guy waiting in the wings. Treat them nice be respectful make it seem more like a date than a transaction. Ive done it and it didn't get me more but I treat them super nice I get a better more relaxed visit. Go ahead and tip all you want.
