Default "Ignore" a thread??

So a question to the mods, or anyone else in the know. Due to traveling a lot I mainly use a smart phone to stay up to date with Eccie posts. When ever a new post is made the triangle on that section goes dark so you don't have to scroll through them all to find the new ones. But some people just like to hear their own voices or in this case read there own posts. After a while I get my fill and would love to have an option to just "Ignore" that whole thread or better yet it just goes away. Is there by chance that option out there and I just don't know how to access it, and if not could this be a feature added in the future.

The ignore function is tailored so that your may "ignore" an individual or list of individuals, not a thread.
