What is important is how the Mueller report impacts the 2020 election. Trump's approval rating, after inching upwards in early 2019, has taken a negative turn. Even Rasmussen has him at 45%, which is probably the lowest he's ever been with them. He remains the ONLY POTUS dating back to Truman who has never had an approval rating over 50% while in office according to FiveThirtyEight. I'll check in in about a week to see whether Trump's approval rating spikes up.

Many POTUS's including Obama have not had two term average ratings over 50%. Hell Obama's two term was lower than GW's two term and only a smidge higher than Trump's current approval.

And we are a year and a half+ out of the 2020 General election.
